I love Grayson’s scoring off the bench but at the moment, I think he needs to be in the starting lineup over colin. Colin is just too tiny to be starting, we are too tiny in general, so you need to size up where you can. He also doesn’t have the offensive bag Grayson does. Also I’d prefer Colin steady hand leading the 2nd unit right now.

Royce needs to get out of the starting lineup up too. We are really missing both Brooks and Goodwin’s defensive energy and Royce brings nothing in that regard and when his shot is off, he’s useless.

It’s not ideal but id look to start Fleming or Dunn, we need some kind defensive energy to start the game until Goodwin or brooks is back. I’d like to see highsmith get some run but that doesn’t seem to be in the cards right now at the moment.

Right now, I’d go with starting lineup of: Book-Green-Grayson-Fleming-Oso. Good mix of offensive talent with defensive bigs. Maybe Goodwin instead of Grayson when he’s healthy. Goodwin, while small, play such bigger.

I don’t think there is any scenario right now that Green will be sent to the bench.

Painful loss. Our defense sucked so bad tonight. And Jalen Green has been actively hurting us.

Shit game, not sure if we just didn't have any juice or if we thought the Bulls would roll over but this is one you can't lose. We finally have a soft spot in the schedule and a chance to really push up the standings and we blow this one. The team knows it, I expect them to respond accordingly. We're not a team whose effort level comes and goes. Ott should've started blitzing earlier when it was obvious we didn't have any energy and couldn't stop dribble penetration. Bulls were too comfortable, we were getting blown by possession after possession, and we weren't forcing any TOs. 39% from the field, 28% from 3. Grayson took 16 threes which is a lot.

It's at the point with Green where it's in his head. The more the fans and media talk about it, the worse it will get. We can't lose him completely. We probably should move him to the bench but that might not help things and it would only hurt (or maybe reinforce) the perception of him around the league.

I thought we should've just mucked the game up with our wings and hustle players, which we kinda did but still stuck with the main guys late. I thought Sheer, Dunn and Coffey all played some good minutes. Dunn seems to be making progress on his drives, grabbed 11 rebounds, had 2 steals and a block. Coffey's shown some nice off-the-dribble offense, fought for some rebounds and generally just knows how to play and fit in.

Maluach sucked but it was his first real game. Hopefully these minutes will be good for him. Trying to stay positive but everyone clamoring for him to get minutes maybe sees how raw he is and how ineffective he was. We're also now in the spot we didn't want to be in with the center position. We moved Richards because he wasn't playing, now Williams is hurt and we're down to Oso and Maluach. We need Maluach to learn fast because we can't get nothing out of him during this stretch.

I think it’s time to put Grayson back in the starting lineup. Love Colin but we are really small and I think we miss Grayson 3pt gravity to start.
Imagine a team so small that Grayson Allen adds size.
in Ott we trust

But, yeah. I agree with this starting lineup. That's the right combo of size, IQ, and chemistry. Plus, moving CG back to the bench helps the second unit a lot, since they no longer have Oso running the show for them. CG-Coffey-Dunn-Royce-ManMan
in Ott we trust

Grayson has been awesome, basically our 2nd best player with Brooks out. At times it felt like he was single-handedly keeping us in this game by draining a crazy 3. But I don't think we can rely on him to give us 20+ points in games like this. We really need another scorer to step up; ideally that would be Green, but this really feels like a blown season for him. Hopefully he can find his mojo before the season is over, else this summer.

I am wondering if those rumors were true that we had offers to trade Jalen Green at this year's deadline. In retrospect that would have been a wise thing to do, to sell high while he had a good reputation in his limited time playing as a Sun. Now he's probably a toxic untradeable asset.
