Game Day: Suns (39-27) @ Raptors (36-29), Fri 3/13/26

Post by Superbone »

Time: 4:30 pm AZ (4:30 pm PT/7:30 pm ET)
Place: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON
TV: AZ Family 3TV/NBALP

The Suns travel up North to play the Raptors on a back-to-back after defeating the Pacers Thursday night. I understand that Scottie Barnes is questionable. Hopefully Grayson Allen is available. The Raptors are pretty much the same situation as the Suns but in the East. The road trip gets tougher from here ending with Celtics, Wolves, and Spurs.

Feels like we are a much better team than the Raptors, but we have very similar records. Gotta give it our all tonight.

Big wings, Quickley can score in bunches, Barrett can get downhill and be a handful getting into the paint. Good news is we got Grayson and Highsmith available.

That’s one thing that’s massively evident this year vs last… EFFORT has been insanely better and you can see the benefits of EVERYONE going all-in and the chemistry it’s built. These guys are selfless and play for each other. How many times have we fought back in games? It feels like a lot this season.

We also have a history of struggling to contain Brandon Ingram.

The league changes how they call fouls to allow for more physicality, then when a guy give a clean hard foul, they review it and call it a flagrant. It's a joke.

Rasheer Fleming is positively ELECTRIC! 4 blocks in the first half. After one of them, Highsmith had the ball under the basket for an easy two put passed it out to Fleming who nailed the three.

It would be refreshing if the refs could at least attempt to be consistent ...
A fun team to watch again. A trade or two away from being a serious contender...

Oh, and Hack-a-daro is coming to the NBA soon. Maybe as soon as the second half of this game. 1-4 from the line and one was an airball.

Fleming should play more in the second half, and at center. Poeltl wouldn't be able to keep up with him, and MavoAlphabits would have trouble, also.

Unbelievable, not to mention he was probably fouled twice before this clip started.
