I'm actually ok with that. Like I have said before continuity is one way that championship teams are built.

It's better than constant upheaval, plus its not like teams will be lining up to take some of these players off the Suns hands.

I think I'm going to take Ishbia's comments at face value. I'd be surprised if we made a major move before next season. I'm pretty much expecting the same team next season maybe with a few small roster tweaks at most. I do think we'll be a bigger and better rebounding team just by playing Fleming, Dunn, and Maluach more.

What are the roster holes you want filled this summer?

Ishbia: I feel we have the right players in place, the right coach (Jordan Ott) in place, but they have to get better. Everyone has to get better. Everyone has got to improve. Sometimes, the feeling is "I got to go get this guy that does this," but what if my guy can already do that? He just has to continue to get better. We have a young, ascending team. So when you look at players like Rasheer for example, 21-year-old kid. Maluach, 19-year-old kid. Can they grow and fill some gaps like defensive rebounding and other things? Can they do that, and can we also have different schemes and how does the coach modify things to make it so we’re better at things?

I think a lot of times, looking externally is not always the right answer especially when you have the great camaraderie, great culture, great identity that we have. I feel good about what we have right now. If there’s an opportunity to find another player, we will do that, but I like our team and I think we’re going to get better next year. If we have less injuries and we have more continuity and our players did a little better, could we go from 45 to 48 to 50 wins, where would we be? Next thing you know, you’re a top-five seed and you’re winning a playoff series. How do you develop to that level?
Totally ok with this. Just need to address logjam in the back court.

I'm fine with that approach, but then why are they bringing in a bunch of guards for draft workouts?

With a late 2nd rounder, I am not concerned about this.

Ya you gotta do your homework on everyone. You don’t ignore entire positions because you already have a lot of guards.

I’m actually pretty ok with just running it back. Certainly be opportunistic this summer if something presents itself, but I feel like the trade deadline might give us more options. Don’t use up more assets to turn a 45 win team into a 49 win team. Sign our guys to good tradable deals and see if any of that internal development and continuity helps…if we look like a 49 win team that way, then maybe make a move. If we regress into a 40 win team, then hold your assets. Trade off some of your vets(Grayson and Royce).

Yeah, probably G league material. Plus we do have a second rounder this upcoming draft, right? BPA?

I do think Green will be traded. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I've noticed the Green has never gotten the press that Brooks gets. It feels like the Suns have always known that he's not a core player for this team.
"Hey, Jane - get me off this crazy thing called love." - Charlie, but also Suns fans wishing we didn't have to watch more 4th quarter small ball but knowing we will tune in for the next game.

Who am I kidding? It's a mortal lock that Ishbia is repeatedly calling the Warriors about a trade of Jalen Green for Draymond Green. That's the splashy move he would sign off on.

What if Dallas called offering Kyrie for JG? What would it take to make that trade work?

What's up with all of these garbage trades that are surfacing out of the sewers? Anthony Davis? Jrue Holiday? Shame on BSotS for even discussing these rumors.

I want Green out, but I don't think I would trade him for Kyrie at this point. Kyrie is too old and injury prone and also is nearly as much of a black hole on offense.

This Suns team is built different — and you can feel it.
Ott’s got the whole squad locked into that dog mentality: hungry, loyal, relentless, and playing for each other like a true pack.

Every loose ball? Ours.
Every 50/50? Ours.
Every moment that needs heart? Ours.

There’s a loyalty in this group that dog people understand — that bond, that grit, that “I’ve got you no matter what” energy. It’s showing up in every rotation, every hustle play, every defensive stand.

When a pack believes in each other, they’re dangerous.
And Phoenix believes right now.

Keep barking. Keep fighting. Keep rising. Grow and don't kill the pack. But add a few more dogs 1PG, 1PF, and 1C
Go Suns. ☀️🐾🔥

To be clear, I don't really want Kyrie here either. But I do believe that Dallas will move him this summer, and I wonder how much that mess of a franchise would value Green. Plus, I still have some anxiety that Ishbia might not have learned his lesson on older star players. I'd only be a little mad if we got Kyrie + draft capitol.

I don't think we'd go after Kyrie. Too much baggage, older and coming off a major injury. I want Green moved but only in the right kind of deal. Not looking to trade him just to trade him or to get some aging name on a big contract.
