Wade will be an Ott signing since he coached him in Cleveland.

I would 100% do Jalen for Zion, but New Orleans wouldn’t

Not very interested in Harrison Barnes, but might be interested in Dean Wade at the right price. Probably not the ideal big bruising PF of my dreams, but feels like he'd be a good shooter/scorer for us at the 4. 36% from 3, averaged 6.1 ppg.

Royce + Dunn for Obi Toppin

S&T Williams for a few 2nds

Sign Wade

Book-Green-Villain-Toppin-Man Man

Gilly-Goody-Grayson-Wade-Sheer-Oso

Highsmith-Booyea-46th pick

How many big bruising PF still exist?

Randle? What would we call LeBron at this point? Maybe Siakam?

The Toppin move, I'd think about it but ultimately it would feel too much like giving away Dunn and I don't want to do that, would rather keep developing him unless it was for a bigger fish than Toppin.

Agreed that Williams should be let go if he wants/gets relevant money; just can't afford to spend a big contract (more than MLE) on him considering our salary cap context.

Wade would be an ok target for me but whatever moves we pull, giving Fleming (and Maluach) a real role is a top priority.

About the rotation you posted, I don't love it as a net result. Still too dependant on Booker at PG, still too SG heavy with Allen and Green so at the very least one of those two need to go. For instance Allen to DET for Levert and #21; and even if I moved Allen, I'd try to trade Green no matter what.

I don't like Toppin for Royce and Dunn; I think we give up too much there. I would be okay with the Williams move. I do think that the lineups you listed there don't look very good to me. That team is basically this year's team but slightly worse. Probably a play-in team again. But I'm not sure we can expect any better than that.

Bright Side has an article about the idea of the Suns trading for Ja Morant. (I want them to do this!)

A PG who can't shoot, stay healthy, or defend, what's not to love?

Ya I’m good on Ja..I could see the vision if it’s just for Jalen, but I don’t see why Memphis does that.

I dont even see it then, he was worse than Green this year, older, and more injury prone, and that's not even bringing his odd court shit to the table.

Not to mention mental health...

It’s just counting on this being a throw away year. Ja barely played…it’s not crazy to think he’d be better…he wasn’t also fighting with the team…I still am good and say no…but I can see it

No thanks on Morant. If I am taking a risk on health, lack of shooting and baggage, I'd rather aim at F/C and find my PG elsewhere.

Agreed on Morant. Apart from everything else he’s just not a good 3 point shooter. As much as we’d like him to be, Book hasn’t proven to be either so I’m not sure that works in the back court. And yes, swing for some added size if you’re going to make a big move this off season.
