I don't think the Wemby elbow is that bad. I can live with it being a flagrant, but it does not need to be a suspension at all. He doesn't extend outside of his own body space or turn to seek out the contact. He just twists his torso with his arms around the ball. The refs are letting defenders play physical inside that space, so Wemby should be allowed to be physical back. My advice to defenders would be to not put your face or neck on Wemby's chest.
"Hey, Jane - get me off this crazy thing called love." - Charlie, but also Suns fans wishing we didn't have to watch more 4th quarter small ball but knowing we will tune in for the next game.

Too much overanalysis on it. Flagrant 2 for an ejection and that's it. People comparing it to Artest are wrong because Artest had a history and reputation. Same issue with Brooks and all his techs. The refs and league go based on rep a lot of times.

OKC goes 8-0 to start the preseason. But several teams have gone 8-0 but not won the title. Here is the list:

Lotta shit talked about Mikal Bridges during the Atlanta series, but I haven't heard a peep about him since he's been playing better.

Over the last 5 (philly sweep + atlanta closeout)
18.8 ppg / 3.8 rebounds / 3.4 assists / 1.4 steals / .678 fg% / .467 3p%

He was +40 in 26 minutes to close out Atlanta and + 31 in 28 minutes to close out Philly.

Ya people like to hate on Mikal for some reason. For Knicks fans it’s because he’s a true 3rd option and they paid for him like he was a 2nd…he’s fantastic as your 3rd guy though.

The video clearly shows Wembanyama taking a pause to glance where is Reid, then he twist his torso throwing his elbow back at him. That’s intentional, not a move to create space physically. You could even say that there is a previous elbow thrown that missed badly, given the intention showed after that move.

It was fair to upgrade it to flagrant 2, but that’s it. Next game everyone knows where there boundaries are. Risk a commotion getting too close, risk another upgraded call being too intentional.

I didn't see it the same way at all. Looks like he looks at him and then targets him. His teammate's reaction says it all.

It's not his fault they overpaid.

Mikal definitely hit a wall and really hit rock bottom for a few weeks but has bounced back nicely. It just is what it is with him. If KAT is playing poorly or taken out of a game defensively, Mikal can't make up the difference. He's never going to be the focus of a defense making life easier on Brunson or KAT- it's the opposite. He needs them to play well in order to find his points on offense.

Kind of funny to see Dillon trolling Lebron as he is about to get eliminated. But, like, Dillon and the Suns were already eliminated by the same team! So who is he to talk? Also going out of his way to go to that game and sit there seems a little desperate, making it into a one-sided rivalry. Oh well. Dillon gonna Dillon.

It's cool that for as big an asshole Brooks is on the court, he's cool off it and can be respectful instead of running his mouth like others. Him sitting courtside is downright hilarious.

He was the main character on social media hate watching the Lakers. A lot of account and fans had fun with it. I also like that a lot of accounts and fans are giving the Suns and Book some respect after seeing how SGA and the Thunder are officiated. When Book was calling out the refs and we got swept, I think most thought we were just poor sports and whiners. Now after this Lakers series a lot more people understand what we were talking about.

Spurs shooting 49% on 3's, and have a 51-23 rebound advantage.

And a 33 point lead with 8 minutes remaining.

I hope so. I have futures NBA Champ bets on both the Thunder and the Spurs. I'll make a LOT more money if it's the Spurs.
