Plus they really under-utilize him.

It took Lopez a long time to get to this point.Mori Chu wrote:I think he's hitting the rookie wall, to a degree. This is basically his rookie season. I'm not too concerned about it. LMA was unstoppable in the fourth. Suns offense went cold. Game.

That has been an all too familiar theme this year.Superbone wrote:LMA was unstoppable in the fourth. Suns offense went cold. Game.

I sure hope the recent play doesn't portend the player he will eventually be. His offense has been downright abysmal. To be fair, he hasn't gotten many chances. I can lament the performance of our young players, but if you look at the young players doing well for their teams currently - I'm thinking Noel and Wiggins - their coaches patiently let them struggle for much of the season before things finally came together. Not our approach, obviously. We're too busy contending.Mori Chu wrote:I think he's hitting the rookie wall, to a degree. This is basically his rookie season. I'm not too concerned about it. Among the things that have been called into doubt in my mind this season is the future of the dual-PG offense. We could decide to ditch it this offseason by moving Bledsoe, but it doesn't look like we'll move that direction, since we've "consolidated." I hope next season isn't the boring and hopeless disappointment that this one was.

I didn't watch it, but the boxscore is very depressing. I can't figure out which stat I'm most upset by
Bledsoe 5-20
Warren DNP
Marcus Morris 44mins

“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

BTW, Aldridge would look so good here.
I know I'm dreaming, but...

The Blazers only scored 87 points.
They played pretty crappy themselves. Its just the Suns offense looks like a pickup game. Hornaceck might be a nice guy, but I just dont see a very professional basketball team on offense or defense. It seems their defensive philosophy was to hope the Blazers missed open threes.
He's made a series of questionable moves since training camp. The first red flag was when he indicated early our offense would run through the passing of our forwards which is strange considering they had three good point guards and no forwards who were good passers.
Then there was the decision to have Dragic play off the ball when he was easily the best play-maker. He also should have benched Gerald Green earlier in the season. The team also lost a series of games to bad teams at home.
Youre telling me Alvin Gentry or even D'Antoni would have made these same mistakes?
I just dont have any confidence in the guy as a coach.

Does anybody know why Warren didn't play in this game?

as much as I want Marcus off this team, he played really well last night.Sunsfan4life wrote:I didn't watch it, but the boxscore is very depressing. I can't figure out which stat I'm most upset by

That said, I would have liked to see TJ. I think something was up.

I'll take your word for it. Still 44mins? and That to me is a direct correlation to T.J. I agree. I got the feeling something was up with TJ. Like he wasn't giving his all in practice or he missed a ton of assignments last game. I'm not sure because I missed last game.

Maybe Warren got a technical foul and so the coach sat him.
