OK, time to play the youngsters full bore. Maybe even start Archie and TJ.

This team is going nowhere with Bledsoe as the starting PG. INF was right all along to just let him go last off-season.
Yeah. I was wondering tonight how this team would look with Dragic as the point instead of Bledsoe. I think we'd have different results. The FO picked the wrong player.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

(oh crap. our starting pg just shot 10-32 in the two most important games of the season)

It's blatantly obvious why Dragic wanted the fuck off this team. He was clearly the only true PG on the roster and was relegated to camping on the 3 point line every night and letting Bledsoe play out of control, passing the ball like he had his eyeballs gouged put.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I am feeling as negative about this team as I have for some time. I like Len (albeit I'm slightly concerned about his durability), Warren and Goodwin have shown some nice flashes.
But everyone else I either don't really like or feel like they're a bit "ho-hum" as players.
I don't think we have a potential superstar on our squad, or the ability to attract one, or trade for one.

The Knight trade looks worse by the day.

Well yeah if we are talking Goran at $14M but I still can't take Goran at $20M. Just too defensively limited.

I think Bledsoe might improve. My big worry atm is what to do with Knight who has been awful here. Some guys can't transition to play off the ball. And what the hell to do with the Morris twins. They frustrate me. What I really want to do is bench both of them as a unit. Start Warren and find a guy like Millsap to play starting PF.

This team is definitely in a terrible spot.

- The Front Office after a year of dumb luck actually sucks. Not just strategically but emotionally, mentally. They come off as arrogant assholes and have nothing to back it up except a year of dumb luck that was fueled by a surprise attack that could not be sustained. I have ZERO faith in them

- Our coach is a flaccid leader -- one who cannot contain the type of players the team has. Nobody on the team is charismatic or thoughtful enough to lead the team and our coach is like a man child pretending to be an NBA head coach. I'm sorry but he isn't a good coach, you can debate me all you want but strategically and from a leadership POV he sucks

- Our young talent is interesting on this team but I wonder if they will make it past another year. I don't sense any game plan. Lack of game plan = lack of vision, lack of goal and structure.

- Bled may get better but still don't understand why he is the primarily ball handler . That makes no sense and made less sense when we had Dragic

- Markeiff has promise but won't ever do anything without discipline from the coach/front office and coddling him by keeping his bro around shows how moronic the front office is

AGH looks like a shitty few years.

So you're saying we should keep Bledsoe at 14 million because Goran wanted the max which was not being reported over the summer?

How can you say Knight has been awful when he hasn't really played? He's been out over half the games here since being traded because of a sprained ankle.

I can say he's been awful in the games he has played in can't i?

I'm saying we keep Bledsoe because I don't want to give Goran $20M right now. Not sure about when that was reported has anything to do with it. Unless you mean we should have never signed Eric at all last Summer and that is where this hypothetical is occurring.

Sure but his statistics in the games he's played with us don't back up your claim.

I'm trying to ascertain if you are justifying keeping Bledsoe and paying him 14 million because it has been reported that Goran expects the max.

You sure? He's shooting 37% for us last time I looked and his 1-10 tonight didn't help at all. Also we didn't win games with him in the lineup. That streak of good play, if you can call it that, came when he was hurt.

Not sure how many different ways I can say I prefer Bledsoe at his current salary than Goran at $20M/yr, mate. If all things were equal I pick Goran every time but unless something weird happens Goran is getting paid.

I want to start over in our back court. That said, knight plays like a PG. He can run a break, handle the ball, and get the ball where it needs to go. But he can't be a 2 here. And we can't be good with Bleds as our 1. We are fucked.

Yeah, I'm not as down on Brandon as others. His shooting's been off, but the man passes willingly, which is a nice change. And I like how he comes across in interviews. Once he starts hitting, I think we'll be happy with him.

I keep looking at New York and Sacto and wondering what we could squeeze out of them for Bled. Both have teams have superstars and are in a position to contend - neither may have time to develop lotto picks. If either of those teams is in a position to draft Russell, they may take Bled for him. Maybe we throw in our pick. Maybe Sauce Castillo is available. Lots of things to think about, but keeping this team together is probably not one of them, given how pissed our coach looks every game.

If Love bolts Cleveland I wonder if they might be interested in Bledsoe. Probably extraneous with Irving there, but do they keep him?

They should have interest in the Morris Bros, doubtful for Bledsoe.

Didn't see the game but T.J.'s line doesn't suprise me one bit. Did he play as good as his boxscore seems to indicate, can we actually see him consistently now?
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

He disappears for long stretches when the MoBros and Bled are in there. They don't want to pass him the ball. Neither does Tucker. By comparison, Brandon was willing to give Alex a try in the post.

The ball hogs are also our best players. I'm assuming we've tried coaching the problem away. Since that's failed, a more drastic option appears necessary.

One of the Bros or Bled should go this summer. If the Pistons end up with a top 3 pick, think they'd be interested in an Archie/MoBros package? What about Sacto - either the brothers or Bled? I think there are a lot of options: I'm just not sure we're interested.

In my view, it's mothafuckin' TJ TIME.

Considering Markieff claimed one of their players "had no heart" im guessing NO.

Would YOU trade a top three pick for the Morrii and Goodwin? Would you trade the top three pick for ANYONE on our team?

I don't think it will be hard to find a team to take P.J. He actually is a very useful and important player to a contending team on a reasonable contract. Problem is we aren't that team.

I hope we move him this off-season. I don't like Marcus, I do like Kieff. This notion that they MUST be traded together is still Bull IMO. Sure they'd "like" to be, but I'd I think after an intial backlash from Kieff he'd wound up being fine.

I'd rather have Knight then Bledsoe. Interested to see what bradin gets money wise, but I think he is what you want as a PG. His shot has kind of inexplicably left since being traded to us, but he has been a good shooter in the past. Bledsoe's contract isn't "unmoveable" and I think you'd be surprise how many teams would be willing to trade for him, but I just don't forsee the front office wanting to move him. I think we should definitely explore it though and see what we can get...
