I want Gentry for the Pelicans but they need to fire this dimwit Monty Williams first.

Gentry will be a top candidate...Orlando, Denver, OKC. Obviously the expectations are title or bust in OKC....he can fly under the radar with a young and up and coming team in Orlando. Denver is probably the least attractive because they may need a season or 2 to really shake that roster out and blow it up.

Chicago may be another job if Thibs gets the boot. Gentry would be a good fit there too, but I feel like coaches in Chi tend to always clash with management for some reason. I think Thibs ends up in either NO or Orlando, probably Orlando.

If Chicago gets to the ECF (and they might) I don't see why they would want to fire Thibs. He continually gets the most out of his roster with guys missing games left and right. Though last night was very telling because it was such a Thibs thing to do...

Thibs is the defensive Mike D'Antoni. It's really shameful that he played D.Rose that many minutes. The guy is going to get injured YET AGAIN and it'll be obvious why. You don't play a guy 45 minutes if he has glass knees, even if the game goes to 2OT.
