I missed it. Some dude on RealGM said he works at a Las Vegas hotel and that Tucker was at the pool drinking a ton. That he was shocked by how fat Tucker was for a guy that plays a wing position.

Give him time, but yeah, Gobert is a stud.

The slo-mo fan club was quite large last year.
Love, Hurts.

He played himself into shape last season. I think he started the season around 260, but was around 230/235 by the end of the season. But there comes a point in time when the weight stays on and the load-bearing joints (knees, ankles) start complaining ...
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

For me it was when I was still eating like I did when I was a teenager, but not burning the same amount of calories. ;)

Anderson reminds me of Walt Williams, an oversized guard who played with the Kings, Rockets and a few other teams. Could distribute, hit from behind the arc and rebound.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Yup me too. I think in the Mcdonaugh Era, that is the biggest compliant I had about his drafts. I wanted Warren...we got him. I really wanted Oladepio who was gone by the time we picked then wanted Noel....but was fine w/Len, who seems to be progressing nicely and you can see the Potential...Most of my targets were gone this yr, but didn't mind Book because I knew we needed shooting and early returns have been good. But I had Kyle Anderson as a top 12 player in last yrs draft, no idea why we didn't take him, but then again almost every team passed on him so you wonder if it was a medical thing. No idea.

I will never understand the Tyler Ennis pick, I had him in the 20s and the position as redundant.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

I have no information on why they thought so highly of Ennis over Anderson. Seemed at the time that they thought they could get something out of Toronto, but they claimed to love him. Turns out that they didn't like him as much as they claimed or they were disappointed in him when he got here. The biggest knock on Anderson has always been his athleticism. I really like players with a high bballiq, because they tend to get the most out of their talent, make other better around them, and also keep working on their skills instead of relying on their superior athleticism.

I'd still much rather have Len than Noel. Noel is disruptive on defense, for sure, but I don't want him guarding Marc Gasol or Boogie. He's just too skinny. I like the fact that Len is very clearly a center. They're less easy to come by.

I like how Len is developing physically and getting bigger and stronger. I also like that he is developing his jumper, but I think that he needs to put in some significant time working on his footwork and hands right now.

Agree on his hands. His body is getting to the point where he can regularly be the biggest and strongest on the court, no question. But if he can't secure the pass or the board, it only helps a little.

I think they really liked Ennis. In fact, when asked about him recently, Jeff Hornacek commented again on how much they liked Ennis as a player. They just like Knight alot more.

Alex Len averaged 9.8 rpg in summer league in 24 minutes per game. Alex loves the tap out as well and usually does it 3 or more times per game. Those do not get counted as offensive rebounds. If he averages 25 mpg this season, I am expecting double digit rebounds.

As a 7-1 guy, with a body like his, double digit rebounds should be a given.
