And People will name them Sexiest Team in the World.

And Keef will be named King of the Cell Block.

Awesome. I can't wait to see them drink from the Stanley Cup!
Sure beats that ugly Larry Bird trophy.

I'm surprised how highly some of you think of the twolves. They have a bright future, but they were a bad team last year. In fact they were the worst team in the NBA. They won 16 games, I'll be surprised if they win more than 32. They are still at least 1 year away, probably 2

As for the Suns, I think they'll be fighting for the 8th seed with Dallas and utah. Of the last few years, this will be the easiest 8th seed to grab. There is 5 legit contenders(warriors, thunder, clippers, rockets, Spurs) one pseudo contender(Grizzlies) and one future contender(Pelicans). And no real leading contender for #8. Mavs are old, injured, and made a lot of changes. Jazz are still young and not very good at offense.

Suns are ? I think the big questions are, how much does Tyson Chandler help? Does he make are defense good? Great? Elite? Do Bledsoe and Knight develop good chemistry? Do our role players(Teletovic, booker, weems, Warren) do their job? Mostly they need to shoot well.

I think our upper limit is 2013-2014 team with Chandler replacing plumlee.
Our lower limit is somewhere between 2014-2015 pre trade team and post trade team. We'll be better than we finished the season, but if knight/Bledsoe don't develop good chemistry and Chandler doesn't impact as much as we like, we'll probably hover at or slightly below .500.

So I'll say 37 wins at worst, 52 wins at best, and go with a prediction of 45 wins, which should be enough this year to get the 8 seed

I think they need to get rid of Flip as coach. Not that he's a bad guy or a bad coach, but they need to start fresh, get a young coach in there and really move things along. Scott Brooks would be my hire. He's a guy with a legit track record, his staff has developed talent and he's someone the young guys will know and respect right away since they've been watching him coach guys like Westbrook, Durant, Harden, Ibaka, etc the last 5-6 years. The talent is there, I just don't think Flip is going to move the needle as coach.

I don't like Brooks at all. I wonder what kind of identity they are looking for. I don't think a guy like Thibs could succeed there. I think they should push the pace but they don't have great Guard play yet, as Rubio has been pretty terrible. If I could pick 5 teams to watch next year they would probably be one of them with the Suns, G.S., Chicago, and OKC.
Go Suns!

which west playoff team is in danger of not making the playoffs if their best player misses a lot of games during the regular season

GSW - curry - uhm no.
Spurs - Aldridge - West takes his place. safe.
OKC - if only one, durant or westbrook goes down, no. if both, lottery team
Houston - if harden is out, they're out
Pellicans - AD, out of the playoffs
Memphis - Gasol, still makes the playoffs
Clippers - Paul OR Blake out, still safe

so the west has 5 locks in the playoffs SAS, GSW, LAC, MEM, OKC

HOU and NOP chances depends on harden and AD's health.

I'm clouded by my desire to boot him. I say he isn't.

I wish there was a way to make thinks work out, keeping the player, but the relationship looks fubare and he is not being a pro. It's a shame because despite all the crap he gets on here, he is still a drafted and long tenured Sun (even if it a forgettable time for the history of the club), can perform on the court, and has a terrific contract in light of the new TV deal and the madness that's going around.

In my opinion a fair offer would equate with say expiring crap and one mid 1stR, and I believe a number of teams in the East would be willing to comply.

Honestly, a year ago I was praising the contract and the player. The contract is still a great value for the on-court performance. But the guy can't be our best player, or even our 2nd best player. I won't even get into the locker room/off-court stuff.

dallas would be a nice fit for keef. that team lacks talent at every position.

I would say 7-10 are more likely to be:

Jazz
Pels
Suns
Mavs

It's hard to say depending on how the Markieff situation plays out.

Hate him or hate him, he's the best PF we've got. Will we be able to get anybody comparable?
