Hi, all. As you may have already seen, our mod carey is a bit under the weather this week. Considering everything he does for the site, I thought we ought to have a "carey appreciation thread" to acknowledge his awesomeness and wish him well.

Carey, I really appreciate all of the links and posts you make to keep lots of interesting content flowing into this board. You are a great citizen of this little community and you improve it noticeably for all the rest of us. You're a good Suns fan and a good friend. I know I speak for all of us when I say that we're wishing you well and hoping you feel better very soon. (Please reply in this thread if you feel the same!)

What happened bud? I'm out, but I can't see out of either eye well yet. Thank god you can just zoom in on a macbook and read everything blown up. I just can't do it for long because it starts to hurt.

Hope that the vision clears up pretty soon. I had some work done on my nose to alleviate sinus problems and rhinitis, and I'm getting seepage from my nose that would make a field surgeon blush!

I had a septioplasty done when I was a bit younger to correct a deviated septum and some chronic breathing / sinus infection problems. It was a surprisingly difficult and long recovery. I remember when they finally pulled those strips of gauze out of my nostrils and I could finally breathe again after a few weeks of total pluggage. It was amazing.

Septoplasty + turbinoplasty. Technology must have improved quite a bit, I'm breathing semi normal less than 36 hours in, just lots of "gunk" coming down my nostrils.
