Clips look strong winning by 20ish over the Blazers tonight. Chris Paul looks spry but Blake is clearly still not 100%.

It's hard to make predictions now after the first game for each series has already started... but I had the following for round one before the games started.

Cavs over Pistons in 5
Heat over Hornets in 6
Celtics over Hawks in 7
Raptors over Pacers in 6

Warriors over Rockets in 5
Spurs over Grizzlies in 4
Thunder over Mavs in 5
Clippers over Blazers in 6

Now I think with the Bradley injury can't see the Celtics pulling it out. Also it looks like Toronto might be ready to choke again. Certainly don't see them winning 4 out of 5 to make my prediction true.

Watching the Raps/Pacers game at work on the web. The blowhard TSN guys have caused me to completely switch my rooting interest in this series. Has anyone heard these hacks before? They make Gary Bender sound like Marv Albert.

Durant & Westbrook shoot a combined 15 for 55 (27%!) and the Thunder lose game 2.

Barely! Had to wave off the last second put back from Adams. I don't see the Thunder going too far. They give up the ball way too frequently and they rely too heavily on two players.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I agree. I don't think OKC is a serious threat to the Warriors or Spurs.

Understatement of the century, but the Warriors just aren't the same without Curry. Luckily the Rockets make an idiotic play just about every other possession. Still they are within 7 of the W's with the 4th Q to go.
Go Suns!

They have Smith AND Beasley. I had no idea that much stupid could be on the same playoff team.

What about Clippers with Smith and Lance and Jordan to start the season?

Yeah, I'm out on OKC, too. They have so much talent but they just don't know how to make the most of it. In the playoffs, always bet against hero-ball / chucker-ball. OKC will beat Mavs but they'll lose handily in the next round vs. Spurs.

Anybody watching these games tonight? I have Mavs/OKC on. Rooting hard for Dallas but I just don't think they have the talent. They are so much more disciplined on both ends of the floor, though, it's almost comical. OKC doesn't deserve to win a playoff series. They're a second-round out for sure.

I'm also rooting for the Pacers. It's funny to see the Raptors play so tight at home. You get the sense that they would do better if all 7 games were on the other team's court.

I've got the DVR all set and will watch when I get home from work. Yeah, not a fan of the OKC team. I respect Durant and Westbrook but don't really enjoy watching their team play.

This Warriors/Rockets game has gotten good. Ws down all game but have come back. They were within 1 but then Harden made a BS 3 and drew a BS foul for some BS FTs. I hate Harden, Howard, and the Rockets so much. It's too bad that the Warriors still don't have Curry back. Have to imagine that this would be a sweep if he were playing.

LOL, saw this on SpursTalk. Scott Brooks looking at his playlist as Wizards head coach.

Not a fan of Scott Brooks as a coach. I don't think he's much of an upgrade for Washington. I guess they also not-so-secretly hope he'll help them court Durant? The only way I could picture Durant leaving OKC would be if they somehow lost in the first round to Dallas, which I doubt.

Wow, the ending of this Warriors/Rockets game is really exciting.

James Harden is a dick. I'd never want him on the Suns with the way he's behaved over the last couple of seasons. That's something I never thought I'd say before and right after he went to Houston.

Most notable to me was him pushing his teammate away after hitting the game-winner.
