PJ Tucker Appreciation Thread
Re: PJ Tucker Appreciation Thread
Thank you PJ. Right player wrong time. Go shake up Toronto and put a fire in Ibaka's ass!

I meant to say light a fire under his ass... this is what happens when I post at 4 am...
Honestly I'd love for us to have lost this trade. That will mean that PJ was a big contributor and possibly helped push Toronto past the Cavs, who I really can't stand. Then a big salary might follow and I would love to see this for PJ.

Lol mori..
I read this - http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2017/ ... oenix-suns and I nearly cried (well, not really) but when was the last time I heard a player cry when he got traded?

Re: PJ Tucker Appreciation Thread
I beamed when I saw that PJ went right out for Toronto and had 9 and 10 and played 30 huge minutes for them in a big win. F yeah. Go get 'em, PJ. Really happy for him. He has his flaws, but he deserves to be playing in games that mean something. He should be on a playoff team like that.
I don't really believe in the Raptors, but it does make them slightly more interesting that they acquired two big pieces (Ibaka and Tucker) for the stretch run of the season. I just looked up Ibaka's stats for that same game, and he had 15 points and 7 rebounds. They may have fixed some of their frontcourt flaws at this deadline. Makes them much more interesting.

With the new-look Raps, the strong Celtics, and the lurking Wizards, I think the East playoffs might actually be kind of interesting this year. Certainly moreso than the West playoffs, where the Warriors look likely to run away with everything. The only real series I would want to watch in the West would be Warriors/Spurs and Warriors/Rockets.

Warriors Pelicans!
Re: PJ Tucker Appreciation Thread
On paper Warriors / Pelicans sounds like it would be a fun series. But I think the destiny of that series would be that each of Boogie and Davis would score 30+ a game and then the Pels would still lose each game by 20-30 points. Probably a sweep.
Re: PJ Tucker Appreciation Thread
Maybe, but I'd like to see how much a big front line really hurts the Warriors. Also sheer physicality may bring about injuries (not wishing that upon anybody but it's a part of the NBA life) and I think this could prove to be consequential...
