Thomas, Lowry, Beal, Wall, Derozen, Irving are the guards I can think of right now in the East. Am I missing any?

Im confused. Won't the big names in the west keep Booker out of the allstar game this year? It doesn't matter if he is better than guards in the eastern conference for all-star selections, right?

Yeah, partial display if anything. We have to assume that the basket was made.

During practice, when media was able to watch, Bender threw an absolutely gorgeous outlet pass to Chriss right in stride for an easy transition score. Bender was also vocal and helped the lead guards where to go and set them up on slashes to the rim or swinging it out to the perimeter after suffocating the defenders inside. It’s apparent his advanced traits in this area will help the offense run smoother as the team gels together the next couple of seasons.

They should eliminate the conferences not just for the playoffs, but for the allstar game as well. Then let the two guys with the most votes draft their teams from other allstars. Maybe even raises the competitiveness of the game.

I'd better clarify, then.

Booker is going to have a very good year this year.
In the West, he might not make the allstart game because of how stacked it is. But his season will be so good that he might make it in anyway.

Awesome news. Very glad to see Bender taking leadership. I hope his shot starts falling, because the rest of his game was pretty good for a teenager last season.

You are saying the coaches will put him on the team as a reserve over the other guards in the West?

I'm saying he will get some votes from coaches. If someone slips a bit, then he will get enough votes. He will be in the Klay, Chris Paul, Damian Lillard tier of guards next season.

I like it. Don't listen to the naysayer. :)

It is a lot more fun to expect great things to happen. Problem is as Suns fans we have all been beaten and stomped on so much it is hard at times to be truly hopeful but I'm with you.

Booker for All Star 2017-2018!!!

Yeah, it's WAY EASIER to be a pessimist. You are far more likely to be correct if you predict the worst.

lol. Indy and jonh ask for clarification and now they are villains.

Meanwhile I'm not quite ballsy enough to say that Booker will be an allstar. But he will be one of the top 8 guards in the NBA for sure. 26 points/ 4.5 assists.

So he'll make an All NBA team then? Whoa.

Pretty sure that is not how law of averages work... But optimists always see realists as pessimists. But I am an engineer. I hope for the best, expect what the data/past performance has shown, and prepare for the worst.

I do expect that within the next 3-4 years, but not this coming one. Would be wonderful for us, though.

Villains? I was making a joke. Nothing wrong with hearing perspectives from all sides. Why does one side have to be the villain and the other the hero?
