Back to back games with preseason ejections. Got ourselves a gang of hardasses over here.

Chriss off the dribble. Not something we have really seen before.
Re: Game Day: Blazers (3-1) @ Suns (1-2), Wed 10/11/17
Bender to the line for 3 free throws. Perhaps his first trip to the stripe in his career? There is no way to know for sure.

Great D on the pick and roll by Bender.

Followed by him stumbling out of bounds on the next defensive possession. It's not just the season that is going to be a rollercoaster guys.n4th4n wrote:Great D on the pick and roll by Bender.

I saw Alec Peters at Whole Foods last week in the produce section. Just thought I should let you guys know.

It's funny how an unrecognizable basketball player stands out in public simply by virtue of how huge they are. But yeah, I wouldn't have recognized him. Just would have thought "damn, that's a huge dude!".
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I did a search on Direct TV. I assumed they only show games from this year. Of course when I went to watch it some college football game was playing.Superbone wrote:Are you sure you're looking at the right year, 'Dack? As far as I know, it's not on TV although I do believe Friday's game in on Fox Sports. I'm going to check out the Suns Facebook page again and then if that's not working, start scrambling like last time and hopefully one of us will find a stream.Nodack wrote:I am showing the game being on Fox Sports AZ channel 686 on Direct TV. I hope I actually get it.

Eric Bledsoe already in midseason form with the 0-8. I was hoping these guys would bounce back a bit from last game. Didn't see the game. I mean the score was ugly Did they play with any more energy than the Jazz game?
That's one thing that should NEVER happen with this group of guys, lack of energy. That falls on the coach. There should be at least 10 guys that are hungry for minutes and to prove themselves in this league. Again, not making any foregone conclusions until the regular season but I see some red flags.

Turns out the coach ran them ragged in practice, which they say took too much out of their legs for last night's game -djy2j wrote:Eric Bledsoe already in midseason form with the 0-8. http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/n ... 756720001/Watson then put the Suns through a 100-minute practice that included 32 full-court sprints for layups for every turnover they had against the Jazz. All that running took some steam out of Phoenix’s legs, one reason it shot 37.8 percent from the field in Wednesday’s 113-104 loss to Portland.
But Watson thought it was more important to challenge his players.
“We knew our practice would put them in a tough situation physically that would allow them to either push through the wall or falter or fall,” he said. “They pushed through the wall … I’m proud of the way they responded.”

I only saw the first half, but I would say we had better energy from the young guys. Chriss and Bender looked more dialed in. Of course, Mike James is always ready to attack. He gets it. So having more of him on the court made the team look more active, even though they were not more effective.djy2j wrote:Eric Bledsoe already in midseason form with the 0-8.
