Gotta be the first time nothing changed.
It's about a 1.87% chance, or about 1-in-53.
According to McDonough, it's never happened before.

Bender's name has been out there a while and I feel like he's a bit more known than Porzingis was at this time last year. What's funny is that he's regarded as raw and a project, which is exactly what they were saying about Porzingis when he was drafted - the old "He won't contribute for 2-3 years" stuff. My fear is that he'll get taken high because of the Porzingis "hype" and won't be as good or will be legit be a 2-3 year project.

I have my own thoughts and philosophy for the team but I would entertain trading the 4th pick and/or the 13th picks.

Best case scenario is The Lakers don't want Ingram and Simmons, after the inevitable bitching and moaning Rich Paul will do to get hi to LA, will be taken by the Sixers. Then the Lakers, wanting to compete as quick as possible under the ridiculous ultimatum Jeanie Buss gave jim about him having to make the playoffs or get fired, agree to a swap of picks with Phoenix in exchange for Knight or Bledsoe. It's far fetched but....you never know.

If we stick at 4 I would have to look more into Bender. I'll fully admit he is the prospect I know the least about, But I'm not enamored with anyone else. I think Dunn or Hield may be my next chioces but I understand the heisitation for a guy like Dunn. He is very comparable to Bledsoe. I actually think he'd fit well in Philly (Okafor to the Celtics for #3? Don't sleep on it). So He's a good player, but he is a hybrid guard. I refuse to take or not take a player on how our roster is "constructed" because I think Knight or Bledsoe will be moved out by next off-season at the latest. Or atleast should be...

Damn...I really really wanted a top 2 pick. The difference between 3-12 is negligible IMO.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

The only difference between 4 and even, say, 13 is that you get to choose first. Talent wise I think it's a pretty deep tier 2 that is actually a tier 3 in most drafts.

Are they even a reputable sports news source anymore for the Suns?

This is pure spin... and made me want to never read anything from Cluff again.

I've never heard of Cluff before but that can be considered a fluff piece or more literally, a Cluff piece.

I actually like that. You take BPA when you're a team that isn't close to contending. The only exception...Maybe....is if you have a back to the basket guy young stud and the BPA is the same. Anyways, The lottery has a ton of question marks. The Simmions v Sixers drama will be pretty interesting to see lay out. Simmions has zero leverage though, I'm sure Rich Paul won't care. The Celtics absolutely may trade that 3rd pick. I'm seeing Jamaal Murray or Bender to them in almost every mock.

The Wolves are in an interesting position. Can a Rubio/Dunn Backcourt work? Where would that leave Lavine? Does Thibs even like Rubio? So many question marks. Alot of the teams up at the top of the lottery have completely lopsided rosters. Starting with Forward/Center heavy Philly and including us.

I think Thibs will love Rubio. He plays hard defensively and doesnt force it offensively. He's the exact opposite of what Rose was.

I like the highlights I have seen of Bender. Not sure if he will click well with our backcourt of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, but I don't think much about those guys when I think about our team's future anyway.

I do like taking BPA, but we have such a weirdly crowded backcourt that I honestly think we would just ruin any PG we would draft this year. I don't want a PG and probably not even an SG. What would we do with both Booker and hypothetical-SG-rookie on our team? The guy won't get any minutes, he won't develop, and we'll have to trade him or let him go in 3 years. He might become great, but not for our team. What's the point of taking a guy like that? Draft a darn forward.

The upside of Murray and Buddy would be giving the backcourt more shooting and more BBIQ. Something it needs to go with Booker and the dummies. If we can off-load one of the dummies, I'd have no problem drafting a G. They both also have an alpha personality, and we could use another one of those IMO.

He was probably tweeting from Africa, which is 5 hours ahead. So of course he knew the results ahead of time.

I have a feeling that Bogdanovic may not come over this year.

Agreed. I think it was carey that pointed out he would have to play for basically the league minimum, but could negotiate his own contract if he waits another year.

I was banking on him for staying another season over in Europe.

Been talking to Kings fans elsewhere... #13 + Knight + Tucker for Gay + #8? Take the guard at 4; grab Ellenson at 8.
