He does rebound though, which I think makes him an asset next to Len not in place of. I'd even consider moving Dragic in a package for Love, say Dragic and the Morris twins or something. But again we'd need assurance he'd sign here long term. No sense giving up any assets at all when we could make a play for him this Summer. It would be in lieu of signing Goran but it could be done.
the love for bledsoe trade doesnt require him to "give assurances". the only assurance he gave the suns last time was him telling them he will not resign if they trade for him.
but offense is not our problem
just because you run (which increases possessions... for both teams) doesnt mean the offense is efficient. and just because the opposing team get more scoring opportunities (which usually translates to more points for them) doesnt mean the suns defense is the problem.
The Love thing is moot. They're not trading Love unless LeBron tells them to and likes the pieces coming back, and Bledsoe and Len won't cut it. They'll fire Blatt and let Lue run the team before they break up their big 3.
And from the Suns' perspective, trading away Len's promising career for three months of KLove is a proposal that deserves only mockery. This is a deal that neither team would consider. I guess it makes good click bait, though.

OTOH, you get rid of bleds contract and undo the logjam at pG #additionbysubtraction

Also subtraction by subtraction at the defensive end. Replacing Len and Bledsoe with Love makes the Suns much worse defensively

No he wouldn't. Blanks would be content to give a dumb contract extension to his beloved Morris Twins and let them hold down the forward spots. Thank goodness he's not around anymore...oh no wait...
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”
Cavaliers get: G Eric Bledsoe and C Alex Len
Phoenix Suns get: PF Kevin Love
See the trade
Why the Cavs would do it: James is as close to Bledsoe as any young player in the league, and they share an agent in Rich Paul. Plus, Bledsoe just happens to excel where the Cavs are weakest: defense. Bledsoe can guard 2s as well as point guards that Irving can't. Bledsoe is slowly shooting better from deep, and if the Cavs want to get younger and more athletic, this is the deal for them. At 7-foot-1, Len gives them a young giant who can take up space in the middle and provide depth for Mozgov and Thompson in case the latter doesn't agree to a deal this summer.
Why the Suns would do it: The Suns wanted Love this summer and now they have a logjam at point guard. This deal solves both issues. The tri-point guard lineup has actually been successful this season, but keeping all three players -- Goran Dragic, Isaiah Thomas and Bledsoe -- happy all season long might be too tall of a task. Dragic running pick-and-rolls in space with Love like he did with Channing Frye last season? That's a scary proposition. Plus, Len becomes a bit of a luxury now that Brandan Wright is in the fold. (WTF???)
I'm just curious...what were his other suggestions? That last setence about Len being a luxury makes me think he doesn't even know who he is.

I've seen way worse. Every week in the NFL a player does worse. I'm not a big fan of Westbrook though and this just adds to my reasons to dislike him.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Him and Durant had monster games tonight. Yeah, it's kind of Marshawn Lynch like but worse because he's dripping with cynicism. He knows that he could get the guy fired, right? Its just weak imho. At least Markieff owned up to how he treated the media. These guys have a responsibility. Why be a jerk about it? It's not like they just got their buts handed to them by 30 or anything either.
True. I'm not a fan of how he acted. There should be repercussions. We took issue with Markieff dodging the media. I think this is even worse.
