Philly named their D League affiliate the Delaward 87ers. I think maybe they should have just gone with the Sixers. I think 5 or 6 minor league teams use the same nick as their affiliate.

Weird. Just last week while I was in Arizona, there was an article about how successful the Jam were in Bakersfield after they changed their focus to a smaller corporate crowd.
The Prescott arena filed for bankruptcy in August after losing its hockey minor league team. Sarver is a banker. They see opportunity in situations like that. They are also going to be closer so it will be easier to use as an actual minor league team.

I would guess that they will sell rights to the Jam to another team that will open up new in Bakersfield. Maybe they even gave the old ownership those rights as part of the deal.

On a bad team, you say those things. If we were winning, you say the platitudes of "anything I can do to help the team."

Please Suns, don't blow this again. You need to get rid of players that don't help others be better. He is probably the worst on the team by that measure.

Couldn't agree more

Role can have many meanings. He is going to fight for the starter position and high minutes. Well managed it can be interesting. If the inmates run the asylum things become dumb and ugly. But I don't take the chance. I move him as soon as possible.

Are we sure he wasn't saying "Roll"? He might be a creature of habit and loves his danishes.

Watch us use the #13 pick to move him for basically nothing, by saying "our guy" wasn't there at 13.

How unlikely do you find this? 30%, 50%?

Yup. I wonder, does he want Watson back?

More shitty quotes from Knight...

http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2016/ ... ed-in-role
But just as frustrating, to me, than those grandiose quotes, are his comments on playing with the kids. And the one kid that really made the most strides (Booker) is the one potentially threatening his 2016-17 starting spot.

Was it intriguing to see those guys get better?

"Not really," he said. "You're playing that much and you're getting a lot of time, that's what you're supposed to do."
Go Suns!

I wouldn't bet on it. He should know his starting days are numbered.

Under McD so far, 100% unlikely. Knight is his guy, it is doubtful in the first place that he wants to move him, and if he does he is not going to accept a move where the player is values as an albatross (because he isn't). Listen to JC man. Drop the fear, anger and old friends we come to talk to again.

Oh weird, another Suns player posturing himself in the off-season to get what he wants at the expense of the team. You got your paycheck last off-season now STFU.

Every. Damn. Off-season.

If I expect the team to continue to disappoint me, just think how happy I will be when they don't disappoint me as much as I expected!

He can say whatever he wants. The reason to ship him out is his chucking and his black hole play on the court, not some quote. That said: Be gone, black hole sun!

Black hole sun
won't you go
and wash out
of my team?

Black hole sun
won't you go
won't you go?
