Fair enough. I think he will be fired or leave by the end of the 19-20 season. Probably sooner.

Yeah, that is what they need. You know, LeBron may very well leave the east this summer. Don't do anything stupid yet. I may not be a big believer in Casey as a top coach in the league, but changing him because Lebron can beat you all by himself says more about the construct of your team, than your coach.

I can see that too. He really grates on people. Reminds me of Skiles.

Firing Dwayne Casey is silly. Dwayne Casey didn't make Demar Derozan disappear. The Raptors didn't get swept because they were out-coached.

Hiring an assistant off the bench of a team who just had the worst record in the league is a good move? I'd be irate if I were one of fifteen Hornets fans.

Edit: Apparently, I can't read.

How did the Spurs have the worst record in the league?

I'd like to see the coaches vote on the worst in the league.

Unbelievable that in a league with coaches like Stevens, Popovich, Spoelstra, Carlisle, etc., chumps like Casey are winning CotY awards.

According to Inside the NBA tonight, Stevens didn't get any votes and Chuck accused the other coaches of being petty. I wonder what that is all about.

If you had a coaches draft, Stevens might go number 1. I doubt Casey would get much consideration

It's actually pretty disgusting that Stevens didn't get a single vote. And if the coaches shut him out for some reason like he's been too successful without paying NBA dues or something, then they should be ashamed of themselves. I get wanting to like and vote for a guy like Casey, but come on.

Collison was the last active player left on OKC who had played for them when they were the Seattle Supersonics. RIP.

You kind of have to be a surprise to get COTY votes. The consistently awesome don’t get consideration for being their consistently awesome selves. I don’t know why it works that way.
