GS looking very vulnerable right now, or maybe it's my imagination.

I just think the shots that Golden State has been making all year long have stopped falling. They've had a ton of open looks from three, and are just missing. Don't get me wrong, the Grizzlies are playing great defense, but the Warriors are just flat out missing some shots they normally make.
Memphis is an experienced team, they play great defense, control the tempo and have have an advantage up front.
Some people were quick to put the Warriors in the Finals, but they're in big trouble now.

Sure you can, but not if you only have three guys scoring, get out-rebounded and make more turnovers. Golden State shot 23% on 3-pointers and Gasol and Randolph man-handled them.

did you watch the entire game? none of gasol's inside shots were going in in the 4th, same with randolph.
They ran roughshod through the regular season but it's looking like the Grizz have their number.
i also mentioned that memphis on paper could be the warriors toughest opponent.
as for the suns warriors comparison, i still think the warriors will win this series. the warriors have size and good defenders in the post. the suns at that time had shawn marion at power forward, who couldnt defend timmy, and amare who WOULDNT defend anybody.
Memphis has looked really strong in the past 2 games. But they still have problems being able to hit 3s and I'm not sure they can win a close game when they're down 3 in the closing moments. Golden State is down 1-2, but I don't think it's time to panic yet. All they have to do is win Game 4 and they're right back in the driver's seat. Huge pressure game.
alternate reality eastern conf finals: Washington vs Chicago
whoever comes out of the Chi-Cle series will win the east, so chicago.
I just want Lebron to lose. If Cleveland gets eliminated, it's anybody's guess what would happen at that point. I could see either Chi or Was getting to the NBA Finals.
I don't think the series is over, but if history is any indication the Grizz should win. The Grizz are the worst matchup for the Warriors because they have the defense and style to slow them down.
While the Warriors are solid defensively, they actually don't have a lot of size in the frontcourt. Bogut is legit but he can't hold it down by himself. Barnes and Green aren't going to get it done against ZBo and Gasol, and DLee has never been mistaken for any kind of defender. Ezeli is basically a 3rd stringer. So you're left with a jumpshooting team in Curry and Klay (and Green to an extent) and we've seen you can't win with jumpshots in the playoffs. Bogut used to be a legit offensive weapon in the post but those days are gone.
It's a classic case of a team running and shooting in the regular season, and then when the games slow down and teams can focus and lock in defensively, the offensive teams struggle. I'd love to see the Warriors, darlings of the NBA, get taken out by the Grizz.
