Best FT shooting exhibition in NBA history. <Yawn>
Actually, I thought Wilt going 28-32 from the free throw line was amazing.
Wilt, who averaged 51% in his career ...

NBA fans: It’s not fair that only SGA gets the benefit of ticky-tack fouls.

It's an impressive accomplishment, but I hadn't watched that game and didn't realize what the Heat did to try to force the outcome. All the intentional fouling and so on. Bleh. Kind of a mockery of the game of basketball.
I mean, we did that for Booker so he could score 70. It's a part of all big records like this. Maybe they went a bit further than we did but it gets a shrug from me.

They definitely started earlier than we did(we intentionally fouled twice) and their game was much more decided. Miami was up 25 points most of the 4th…we got the game within 10.

My recollection of Kobe's 81-point game is that the Lakers actually needed most of those 81 points to win. Is that right? Google says that the Lakers trailed by 14 at the half and that Kobe scored 55 points in the 2nd half to get the win. Lakers end up winning 122-104 so I guess Kobe probably could have stopped ~ 10 points sooner, but I don't remember it being as egregious as this Bam record is.

The end of this Lakers/Nuggets game is wild. First, Austin Reaves intentionally misses a FT at the end of the 4th quarter, gets his own rebound, and puts in a shot to tie the game and send it to OT:

Then at the end of OT, Luka drives and hits a tough fadeaway to give the Lakers the OT win.

OKC just beat the T-pups which helps us. The West is really tight. We could be anywhere from 3rd to 7th. Ideally I'd like to avoid the play-in tournament.
