I know this is not news and has been known for a while now. And maybe some of you care less about this than I do. But I think it sucks how much of the coming NBA season will only be available on boutique streaming services like Amazon and Peacock. I have Amazon but not Peacock, and I am not willing to buy Peacock just for one day a week of Monday NBA games. To my eyes, if you look at this list of channels and services needed to catch all the nationally televised games, it's just a mess. You would need network TV (ABC, NBC), basic cable (ESPN), plus two streaming services (Amazon, Peacock) to catch it all. You can get some of these through various bundles and packages, but blech! This seems worse to me than the old way. And none of the games are on the NBA's own supposed TV channel, NBA TV? I guess I'm getting old because this all just seems like a complicated mess and I don't like it.

I kind of agree with you. There is a much larger conversation here regarding cable and cord cutting that I'm not going to go into. However, related to the Suns, I am not in Phoenix, so I have to resort to league pass and national streams to watch my favorite team. When that broadcast is a fringe service, like Peacock (Peacock sucks.. if it had good original content, and not NBC broadcast quality CRAP then I wouldn't complain), then it hurts the overall vision of the NBA. I won't watch generic NBA games on Peacock. I just won't, the Peacock content outside of the NBA is not good enough to make me subscribe. I did subscribe to NBA league pass on Prime Video (which is good enough outside of NBA games), and relative to YouTube TV, I am not disappointed. It's not perfect (the trick play could be better, and I can't apparently automatically have Suns content show up in my "library" (I have to search for it, ugh), but neither was YouTube TV.

Anyway, you all that steal NBA content from illegal streams should be ashamed of yourself. How would you feel if someone stole your work? You can justify it however you want, but it is in fact stealing. SHAME! League Pass is reasonably priced at $110 annually. or $1.34 per game for a single team's 82 games.
