Since when is a foregone conclusion breaking news?

Cooper Flagg's declaring seems like an obvious foregone conclusion. But I am encouraged by the fact that some college prospects are actually considering staying in school longer because of the new NIL rules that let them make some money while in college. I would love to see more star and near-star players stay for 2-3 years before going pro. It would be good for both the NCAA and NBA game.

Houston (via PHX) has won a coin toss and will get the 9th pick in the draft, if they don't move up in the lottery. Oof.

Where is Screaming A calling this guy maybe the worst GM ever?

That will be our 9th pick when we trade them KD

I'm hoping the Warriors beat up on them and knock them out. Seem like that would make them more likely to want KD.

Or less likely as they aren't as good as they thought they were.

Good role for him, hope he sticks to analysis and doesn't fall into the trap of being a personality.

Also glad this takes him out of the convo for coaching the Suns. Not that I think there was anything to the rumors, just annoying to keep seeing it pop up.

Yeah, good for Nash. I like him a ton as a player and mentor and in other roles, but not as a head coach for the 2025-26 Phoenix Suns. He's a bit of a quieter leader who leads by example. I think our players need somebody a bit more vocal, intense, loud, in their faces a bit more.

The league is really lost on the All-Star game. They should just keep it the classic way it's always been. It is imperfect but also enjoyable, a tradition, a part of the game. These new versions are invariably worse and forgettable; they're killing it.

I think it’s been dead for awhile. No change is gonna help…need to bury it and start completely over.
