Ya but he did have a comment recently saying he has no interest in a rebuild…I took that to mean he wanted Portland to try for the play-in, but ever since then they’ve been holding out players. They clearly started tanking and I think the team might actually be ready to move on. Dame got his supermax and now he’ll want to go win.
I wonder who might have interest? Brooklyn could flip back around and try and build around Dame/Mikal/Clax.
I could see New Orleans making a move…but do they really want to reunite Dame and CJ?
Orlando would be a sneaky option.
A lot of people would be interested but not a lot would be able to meet the asking price.
