Here's a question. I like some things about Knight, too, but are we really sure he's as good as or better than Bledsoe? He shot the ball horribly, and now he's been injured and out for a lot of his time here. Also, we don't know exactly the kind of money Knight will be asking for this offseason, which could be an issue.
We know it's more than $10M/yr. That's what he turned down from Milwaukee. Plus with the dumb TV deal looming he's going to ask for at least $13M.
Go Suns!

What I do know from my limited viewing time with Knight in a Suns uniform is that he's a much better distributor of the ball and runs the offense better.

I'd give Knight $13 million. I know he shot poorly while here, but I thought the ball movement was much better when he was our PG, he's a better ball handler and distributor than Bled (even if the A/T ratio shows no difference). Most importantly, he's a deadly perimeter shooter - quick trigger, great range. I like him as our PG. He's not Russell Westbrook, but I think he can help us win.

As for Bled, I love his defense, and he's a good scorer. Next to a superstar, he'd be a monster. But I think he's a bad fit with TJ, and he's not a good ballhandler/playmaker/distributor. I'm desperate for better passing, and I think the deal I proposed with New York is quite fair.

Bled/Hardaway/Anthony/YoMama/Deandre or Lopez or Hibbert is a quality team in the east. They could add another piece when the cap jumps the following year. A rookie, no matter how talented, won't fit with that game plan. It's a win-win deal.

If I had to pick between the two of them, I pick Knight every time. But if we are talking about having to pay either of them 14 million a year, I don't see either as being worth it.

here's a quick clean up and reload plan for mcdo

1) get rid of bledsoe (most impt)
2) keep everybody else, including green
3) offer dragic 15 mil a year.
4) bring in the serbian starting backcourt (bog-bog and milos teodosic aka the poor white mans steph curry)
5) compete for playoffs in 2016

UPDATE: sign knight to a fair contract if possible. dont overpay. if not, let him go...

I'd love to have Dragic back, again, but there is absolutely no way he ever returns here. We could offer him the max, and offer him an illegal +$20 mil on the side, and he still wouldn't show up here. That bridge got burnt.

Why are you so keen on keeping green? last yr was an aberation, this is what the dude is. I like his swag and attitdue, but its not like this year came out of no where. He's always been a low Bball IQ type of guy with loads of potential...I think some team will take a flyer on him for a decent amt of money, but the suns should just move on. I doubt he'll ever have a yr like last yr

Also, I think dragic gets more the 15mil somewhere else, and there is no way he'd want to come back here. That boat has sailed, so its unrealistic to put him in your plan.

Agreed with looking for a trade for eric, But I'm not just giving him away.

Yeah. Sorry for harassing your insider. I think he makes some stuff up. He said we were asking for Whiteside in the Dragic deal? Come on...

You always ask. It was probabaly like "Is whiteside available" amd Riley said "Get serious" and that was that.

Nah, Whiteside could not be traded this year. Not possible rather than not available.

With the Harrison twins coming out in the draft and the Lopez twins becoming free agents this summer, all the stars align for a Twin heavy team. Can you say Dynasty, Baby!!!

Even better, they all change their last name to FOE and get matching facial tattoos.

Results of experiment: nobody can come up with a plausible scenario that returns this franchise to relevance.

1. Marcus and #13 to Bulls for Gibson and #22. Draft Rondae.
2. Markieff to Toronto for Vasquez and Pat Patterson.
3. Re-sign Knight & Wright.
4. Trade Bullock for a back-up C (?).

Bledsoe/Vasquez
Knight/Goodwin
TJ/PJ/Hollis-Jefferson
Gibson/Patterson
Len/Wright

Could use another 1/2 and a 5.

Would love to get Meyers Leonard, but I doubt Portland gives him up. INF beat me to it by a couple years. Think he'll be back before the draft?

That's the worst shooting lineup in the league by a mile.
