It's really hard for me to not want to beat the Lakers, but let's face it, beating the Lakers means having a worse record then them and beating them in the lottery hoping that they fall out of the top 3. A win today doesn't help matters long term, but sure would make us feel good for the moment. It's the piece of cheesecake that we are tempted by, a moment of joy followed by long term regret.

The question is whether the front office has talked to Watson and told him that development of our youth is the only thing that matters right now.
