Game Day: Thunder (30-5) @ Suns (20-14), Sun 1/4/26

Time: 6:00 pm AZ (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET)
Place: Mortgage Matchup Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: AZ Family 3TV, NBALP

No rain in the forecast today in Phoenix but there will be Thunder. The NBA leading OKC Thunder, that is. Very tough task tonight and all we can hope for is for the Suns to be competitive and to continue to grow as a team. It will be a test against the best to see where we currently stand. Last time in OKC and without Devin Booker, the Suns suffered their worst loss in franchise history. The bar is low in this one.

Grayson Allen is STILL questionable. I myself question this injury which seems to linger forever.

Allen needs to pull his knee out of his vagina and start playing again. It's a knee bruise, right?
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I don't even know anymore. He came back from that quad contusion and then went right back on the IL soon after with this knee management shite.

So how much longer is Green going to be out for? My man has been out two months for a “strain”. I’d love to see what this team looks like full strength.

We have a back-to-back against the Rockets tomorrow night. What awful scheduling luck. We'd be ecstatic to take even 1 of 2 in this little stretch. At least we're mostly healthy, despite missing Green as usual.

Really rough game, but the Suns didn't give up, and they end the 1st half on a really nice run to cut the lead to 7 at half time, 49-42. Maybe that can give them some motivation going into the 3rd quarter.

Despite the nice end-of-2nd-quarter run we are shooting 33% as a team. Almost nobody feels like they're having a good game, though Goodwin has been impressive and putting out a lot of energy. Oso also out there mixing things up, and Book has made a few nice plays. Hopefully they can reset during the halftime break.

Great game so far.

Williams’ contests have been a little too soft on the perimeter.
