Before you throw dirt on the Pelicans grave... they are healthy for the first time since the season started. Ryno is back. Jrue is back (albeit coming off the bench.) Davis is well, Davis. If Gordon keeps shooting 40% from 3 and Evans actually shows up it could be a legit series.

If Howard is healthy I don't see the Mavs beating Houston. Rondo is just terrible.

The Clippers should cruise by Memphis. They've been playing really poorly the last month or so.

I agree that S.A. should beat Portland. Portland is banged up and S.A. is playing fantastic basketball. Was a thrill to see the Pelicans win tonight.

anthony davis is like a 7 foot shawn marion. i wish they'd run more plays for him, but i guess there's a reason why they dont.

howard isnt healthy and houston doesnt rely on him much anyways. james harden wont be enough, just like last season. the rondo mistake isnt enough to tank dallas. if they have to, carlisle will sit rondo and play barea and their other PGs in the fourth.

see whats up with houston and dallas.

avoid spurs-portland and memphis LAC, and wait for the next round.

Come on. New Orleans is just happy to be there. Golden State will cruise.

Maybe the least accurate assessment of Davis I've ever seen, other than Informer calling him the next Stromile Swift.

I didn't even double check to see if SDC got the matchups right. Figures.

Yeah they might. Or it might go 6. Depends on a lot of things but that's why they play the games.

here's my notes from two months ago after watching complete games of davis: davis not really a go-to guy. good midrange shooter though. good finisher. okay enough ball handler. can drive to the basket for dunks. not effective in isolation plays.

just saw a few highlight clips today: nice turnaround jumper within 10 feet, still prefers to face the basket. he's improving. (take note, HIGHLIGHT clips, i didnt see the misses)

on paper, memphis should be a HORRIBLE matchup for GSW in the 2nd round.

I really can't see the Pels winning more than one game.

I'd love to see the Clips spanked by SA.

Sad to see the Clips and Spurs playing in the first round. Those are two of the three best teams in the west, imo.
