I think that Cuban eventually got the address, but I believe that Broussard was reporting correctly. Just made Cuban look foolish, and I'm just surprised that Broussard decided to make enemies with Cuban. He didn't need to call him out. Although it's a pretty entertaining story. I liked the tweet that came out that this is going to be the best "30 for 30" in the future.

You seriously think a potential employer doesn't have his home address? Where are they supposed to send tax forms, pension reports, etc., to?

Well, normally I would agree with you, but it's not like DeAndre filled out an application.

I think Cuban is embarrassed and over-reacted. I'm sure he feels like he got played especially because his personality is all about being the man and killing it with business. He lost this one pretty overtly

You do realize all these teams have former FBI/Detectives working in security for them. Cuban had his address.

Then perhaps Broussard is being played by Jordan family. Idk

Wow. Amazing story. DJ gets railroaded into a contract by his agent and a hard sell from Chandler Parsons and Cuban. He starts having doubts so he calls his former coach who comes in with the Cavalry and barricades DJ off from his new team (that he had made a contract with) AND his agent.

Unprofessional all around. I was trying to give the Clips some benefit, but that chair against the door text just takes the cake. Wow. Slimeballs.

DJ, if you want out of your commitment, you at least owe a phone call.

Broussard has always been a bit of a fool. I'll say that if a billionaire owner of a team doesn't have a player's address then he has to fire his entire security department.

He's always "breaking" news 10-15 minutes after it's been broken by Woj, etc.

Multiple phx-suns.net sources say that Broussard is an idiot.

Broussard's a huge tool, and so is Jordan Schultz. It's getting to the point that I trust the RealGM "insiders" more than anyone except for Stein and Coro -- who seems not to be saying much nowadays.

Anyone else have a newfound sense of respect for Cuban? He just did something really classy:

I specifically told [Wesley Matthews] that I would not hold him to his commitment if he wanted to go elsewhere. I can't print his exact response, but suffice to say he is excited to play for our Mavs:) Wes Matthews is exactly the kind of player we want in a Mavs uniform and our fans will love him

Yeah, well, it's a hollow gesture. There was 0% chance Wes Matthews was going to turn down that ridiculous overpay contract considering that his Achilles is snapped in half.

Mark Cuban is in Sharknado 3 . . . obviously Broussard's assertion is false.

So was DeAndre until he changed his mind!

Broussard is a tool. He's just cool with a few players, namely CP3, and is more of a buddy who occasionally gets some insight.
