What do you say we try that one again, huh? Can we get a do over? We better see some intensity tonight. This team is not allowed to ruin Steve Nash's special night as he gets inducted into the Suns Ring of Honor. Watch out for C.J. McCollum who scored a career high 37 points in the Blazers impressive season opening win against the Pelicans.
If Felton and Deron got whatever they wanted against our defense I can't imagine what's going to happen vs Dame and McCollum (37pt, 14-22FG against NOP). Also interested to see Leonard and Vonleh in their stretch big role against our bigs.
Please, let that Mavs game be just a collective brain fart.
Crossing fingers. Not holding breath. I think I am going to be surprised every time they get a win this season. I think I will be real optimistic and hope for a .500 season.
Steve Nash is going into the ring of honor. Nobody suiting up for the Suns tonight will ever be there.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

That was such a painful night. Being surrounded by Kings fans in the upper section. An okay first half and a very nice ceremony followed by complete garbage.

I dunno. Len, TJ and Booker still have a chance. It is unlikely but it is possible.

And I'm willing to bet that Nash could still run point better then either of the guards we have on the roster, too....

You are right. I was a little harsh. I am a huge fan of Len and only saw one game from Booker as a Sun. You have to have success as a team in order to get in the ring. If you got great stats but, your team never made the playoffs you won't get you in the ring. The team has to have success and you have to be a major part of it to get in the ring. Let's hope Len gets in the ring in PHX and not on some other team as I suspect will happen. Knowing the Suns lately they will decide Chandler is our future and trade Len to get another piece. I know it's coming.

Here's an interesting question that I almost made into its own thread: Who is the best player currently on our team? Or, slightly different question but perhaps more interesting: If you had to nuke our roster and keep only *one* player from the current team, who would you keep?
I know this will sound ridiculous, but I would keep Booker. I know, I know. He's played one game. But I don't care. I look up and down the roster and see a bunch of guys with low ceilings. Booker honestly looks like a Brad Beal, future all-star in the making, kind of guy. I think we really hit a home run with him. Don't know what he'll give us as a rookie, but in a few years I think he'll be mentioned as one of the better SGs in the league. Yes, I'm drinking the Booker Kool-Aid.
I'd still go with Len, who I think has shown glimpses of something pretty special. Booker would probably be second on my list though, so not ridiculous at all imo.

I thought I recalled a 20 point lead in the first half.

Ha! Hadn't read your post yet. Great minds think alike!

Were we up by 20? Man that makes it worse. I guess I've tried to block the memories of that night.
