A win here would be huge if you actually think making the playoffs would be good for us. Our team is dumb so I don't really know what their plan is or what if anything they think they are playing for. You can kind of tell that Tyson Chandler is giving up on this mess after what he's seen.

I'll be at the game tonight, so I'm hoping we have a good showing!

I don't think I'll ever get to that point. I do hope we make strategic decisions that will benefit the team long term rather than short term.specialsauce wrote:Hoping we lose and lose big

I've bottomed out at just being amused while watching them throw games away in the fourth. The stress of the SSOL years really broke me. I use to care way too much about how well the Suns played. Letting it ruin my mood the next day and such.
Now I want the team to do well but I'm not surprised or upset when they don't.

- Fire Hornacek
- Send PJ Tucker to Europe
- Trade Markieff
- Make Ronnie Price the 15th man and play Archie and Booker more
- Blow up the failed 2 PG experiment where neither player is intelligent
Clearly the rest of these things cannot happen as long as Hornacek is coach, so he's got to go first. And the only way the org will do that is if they continue to lose big. So lose big. I can't get behind this team. They are bad, not fun to watch, and have no promise going forward as currently constructed. I want my team to win, so for now they have to lose. I'm not satisfied with this bullshit they put out.

Strategic decisions that will benefit long term will only be forced onto the organization if we continue to lose big. Wanna see Len continue trending upwards, maybe give Knight a long rest because he's been total butt lately.
Love, Hurts.

I assume he means TJ to start instead of PJ Tucker... wow!

Well shit, as I typed that Coro tweets Booker will start in his place. I'm magical.

It's like Hornacek is playing catch up with the rest of us.

I think starting Booker is premature, but the PJ->TJ move is long overdue.
Re: Game Day: Suns (12-17) @ Jazz (11-14), Mon 12/21/15
While I agree that some subset of those actions are due, I don't think it's wise to make these moves in one fell swoop either. I hope that this franchise can have a clear vision, let's say, for 2015-2016, to not set the playoffs as a goal but to improve the young talent on the roster and figure out who the true building blocks, are and then to do everything to make sure that happens. Or we could find another strategy; whatever it is, it needs to be coherent and the whole franchise, top to bottom, must stick to it.specialsauce wrote:Strategic decisions that will benefit long term will only be forced onto the organization if we continue to lose big. So if the aforementioned strategy is one that we want to go with, then the front office needs to ask Hornacek to follow suit and give the youngsters more minutes (I'm a little conflicted about this, because I don't believe in the front office telling the coach how to do his job; on the other hand the collective vision of the franchise should be bought into by the coach, of all people...), we should move Kieff and Tucker, and personally I wouldn't be against moving Chandler, as long as he is okay with the destination, and we should just stick to the stretch four rotation we currently have, if at all possible.
I'm frustrated with the backcourt's basketball IQ, but I'm willing to give them a chance to improve over the next year and a half, as they can be reasonable building blocks or at least valuable trade chips should the on-court product not work out as expected.

Big changes to the starting lineup!
Re: Game Day: Suns (12-17) @ Jazz (11-14), Mon 12/21/15
The new starting lineup gets a 24-second violation on the first possession.

Down 12-2 after three minutes. On pace to lose 192-32.
