Gosh I was 100% sure we'd lose until the last 2 minutes when I started believing again... These last 2 sec really sting
No Kieff was nice though!

Re: Terror attack in Paris
Well I agree with you, that's why I am not too crazy about the "pray for Paris" thing... To me religion is the problem not the solution to the problem!
But I guess we can't all be atheists either so we'll have to figure something out...!

Re: Terror attack in Paris
Very sad. I'm sure it will prompt a lot of anti-Islam sentiment and calls for violence, too, which probably isn't what we need right now. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. Ditto to all of that. Agreed but on the other hand muslims world-wide need to stop thinking Sharia law is ...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
Hey guys, Heard the news? Yet another terrorist attack in Paris, about 200+ dead or severely wounded... This time it wasn't an attack on anti-religion cartoonists, just random people either going to te ball game or drinking a beer in a café or going to a concert... Women, children, old folks... All ...

Re: 2015 NBA League Pass
I use Ballstreams but I know a lot of people in Europe buy the LP in Africa or Bengladesh through a proxy. No blackouts, dirt cheap...
However I think to do that in the US you have to use the proxy each time you watch a game so probably not worth it

Re: Meanwhile . . .
Totally disregarding France still, I guess. France is probably the most racist country towards people from the middle east in the world. Well, 2nd most. Yes, there are many racist people in France but we 're talking about individuals not government policies. When the French government talks about ...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
Believe it or not but the ISIS people actually do help out populations, giving out food, medicine etc. The difference with Al Qaida is they want to create some sort of a country (a "Califate" as they say) while Al Qaida is all about underground networking. ISIS is probably the most violent and ...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
Many interesting things said, one thing I do not agree with though: the cartoonists did not make their controversial anti-Mahomet cartoons just to show they're willing to do crazy stuff to prove a point. That's part of the thing, sure, but mainly they published the cartoons because they thought they ...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
The writers and cartoonists at Charlie Hebdo have made it clear they wanted to ridicule every religion and a lot of catholics were very upset with drawings about Jesus or the Pope that would come out regularly. They would manifest in front of the journal's HQ and it's insane to think that now ...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
I think Indy is right: religious leaders are very important for muslims because the Coran is complex and can have many different interpretations. Therefore many muslims choose to follow blindly what the Imam says...

Re: Terror attack in Paris
Guys this is terrible, these cartoonists they killed had their flaws but they were genuinely good people. One of them (Cabu) was like legend here, one of the most creative French cartoonists ever. Just about everybody loved him... I feel awful: I knew I would the day he died but it's even worse than ...

Maybe David Gilmore would be a better fit, but would Lifeson fit in with Pink Floyd? First Pink Floyd would have to trade Gilmour for Gilmore which could be interesting. I don't think Gilmore sings however so they'd have to bring Roger Waters back, which would be awesome. Oh and please no Bledsoe ...

Awesome, I just realized I get to watch the game live too! 7 pm, perfect!
I usually watch the games in the morning, after waking up panic-stricken like "omg what happened?!!"

Why could'nt they become part of the EU? It would take some time but it would be possible...
Some non-European teams can play the Champion's league (Turkey...) why not Cataluna?
I do wonder what the catalans would vote for in case there is a referendum like in Scotland...
