If the Congress is flipped in '22 and the President comes out of the GOP, you will be fine with this still being around, but flipped against left wing views?

I think this thread is a pretty fair-minded critique of the announcement of the Disinformation Governance Board. I don't at all think they are trying to create a "Ministry of Truth," but I agree with her that they've been sloppy in how they've announced this. She's absolutely right that all government comms now need to think about how their words and actions could be taken in bad faith and weaponized. They clearly didn't do that here.

The problem is, if Trump created a "Disinformation Ministry," you better gosh darn believe it would be some sham he had set up to imprison his political rivals or something nefarious like that.
