I think this thread is a pretty fair-minded critique of the announcement of the Disinformation Governance Board. I don't at all think they are trying to create a "Ministry of Truth," but I agree with her that they've been sloppy in how they've announced this. She's absolutely right that all government comms now need to think about how their words and actions could be taken in bad faith and weaponized. They clearly didn't do that here.
