Still not upset about not having Harden.

I know we disagreed dramatically at the time he was traded but I really thought you would have seen the light by now.

I guess he would have just destroyed this franchise, oh wait.

We didn't need his help.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the Suns are better off. And I'm not saying Harden wouldn't have this franchise in a better place.

There are about a 1000 paths the Suns could have taken that would have been significantly better than what has played out the last 8 years. Trading for Harden would have been one of them. It's just not one I would have personally preferred. I get a front row seat to the Harden Show, and there isn't a part of me that is envious. Just being honest.

Fuck harden. I've probably never seen a player in any sport that I hate watching MORE. He makes a complete mockery of the game with his antics (sure, the refs fall for them but I absolutely hate it). I would love if an opponent just leveled him one time to get their money's worth on a bullshit foul. I don't regret not making that trade one bit. I'd rather lose for 50 years.

The problem is two fold. Lue's not a good coach but LeBron won't let anyone coach him which means the coach can't really "coach" the rest of the team. So unless he's playing for a guy with say, Phil Jackson or Pat Riley or Pop's stature, his teams are always going to have this issue.

There's no point to firing Lue at this point in the season. They can't bring in a better coach and have any time to instill a new system in the next 2 months. They have to just roll with the guys they have.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the Suns are better off. And I'm not saying Harden wouldn't have this franchise in a better place.

If you decide not to add players of James Harden's quality to your roster you are insuring that you are not serious about winning basketball games. Just as I laugh at those that did not want Kobe Bryant to ever become a Phoneix Sun. Whether you like them or not they are both winners. Sometimes you cannot create the perfect human being that also is a great basketball player. That is a pretty rare individual. Even Nash reportedly is not perfect, off the court. I do not really like some of the antics that Harden pulls on the court but it must be within the rules. I never liked Kobe at all but if he would have become a Phoenix Sun I expect I would have loved him.

I like James Harden because he made Arizona State Basketball watchable and he was the entire show. That ASU team without him was horrible. I really have never been surprised by his success in the NBA. My only concern was whether or not he was athletic enough. He worked on his body and he really is a fantastic player whether you like him or not. That certainly is your choice and I expect you have plenty of company on your side of the argument.

I also remember those saying that MDA would not be able to coach Harden. Then they said he could not coach Paul and Harden. I really do not like either of those guys and I really have disliked Chris Paul forever. However he and Harden are loving life in Houston these days.

Idk what each Suns fans criteria is on who the Suns should or shouldn't pursue. It seems like it's arbitrary and differs from fan to fan. I think the Suns should put the best team together to win the title, not put the nicest guys together and hope the win, because that fits everyone's criteria of "winning the right way." Now that doesn't mean you have to lower your standards in order to put truly distainable people, such as child molesters, murders, theives, and drug dealers on the team.

Look, dude. I would like him a lot better in another uniform. I think he's a center in today's NBA, and he's very clever when he is involved mentally. I wouldn't mind picking him up this offseason if we have a roster spot for him.

All comes down to your definition. I know those were just examples, but saying that thieves and drug dealers shouldn't be on the team, but wife beaters and sexual predators should (if they are the good players), makes no sense to me.
