Game Day: Spurs (34-21) @ Suns (18-37), Wed 2/7/18

Post by Superbone »

Time: 8:30 pm AZ (7:30 pm PT/10:30 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, ESPN

And for our next loss... We have the San Antonio Spurs in town, playing in front of a national TV audience on ESPN. Should be a good lesson in defense and team basketball for our young Suns.

Go Suns!!!

And will any of the Spurs starters play? Don’t the normally rest their starters against us and still win by 20?
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

Betting line: Spurs by 8. Take the Spurs.

Turn it on, see it's 23-5 Spurs, and off to bed I go.

Is 9 points a record low? I ask this way too much lately.

I am honestly not too upset right now. Bender and Josh have looked solid. But they are a rookie and a 20-year old second-year player starting against the Spurs. There is not that much they are going to be able to accomplish on their own.

How do they call that a foul on Bender there?

He jumped straight up and had his legs taken out by the guy.

So who are we going to look at to coach the team next year? I can;t say I've been very impressed with the team under Triano. I don't see any development going on except in the case of Jackson.

The defense is abominable and the offense is hap-hazard.

Have to wonder why we aren't playing Len more minutes. He seriously was one of our best players before the injury.

Not that I mind if Bender gets those minutes but man are the coaches really okay with us being embarrassed in the post?

Len would at least make Aldridge break a sweat.

Well, they held them under 70.

69-31, Spurs at the half.

We have to find time for Jared Dudley and his "and 1" defense.

Man. I don't know which is more sad. The Suns first half or Alice Coopers half time concert. Rough night for Phoenix.
