I don’t care about his hair. It’s his hair, not mine. My mother hates my hair and wants me to cut it. I told her to worry about her own hair.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

I really only care about it as it relates to his game. I can't see how it doesn't hamper his shooting ability.

This. I like my players to have personalty, and the hair is kinda neat, but I'm concerned it interferes with his game.

Yup, he can wear his hair any way he wants on his own time. I care when it affects our team known as the Phoenix Suns. If it doesn't affect his game, then fine.

I don't mind the length of his hair, but I do wish he'd tie it back during games so that it'd be into a position where it won't affect his peripheral vision or balance. But oh well, he's played very well for us and I can't argue with the results.

Ya he seems to be playing just fine, I don't think the hair is causing any problems. I can't imagine he'd leave it if it was blocking his vision

Payton: 24/7/7 __ .613/.500/.800
the internet: He seems to be playing alright despite the hair. I guess it's ok for now. But we're watching.

Seriously. He’s fine, only 2 games but looks like a non-issue.

Let’s focus on the turd sandwich performing around him.

/\/\/\/\THIS!!
At this rate we may as well get everyone else growing hair like Elfrid then they might play better!

THAT would be something. Have you heard of the Flying Elvi? This would be similar without the flying. Well, they do fly from game to game.

a jump shot is all about balance
i believe him wearing a front heavy hat would throw off his balance, and so would that thing
otherwise, i don't mind it as a conversation piece

Good interview on Hoopshype:

http://hoopshype.com/2018/02/14/elfrid- ... e-signing/

Interesting that other teams made similar offers and were turned down. We'll see how negotiations go this summer. I wouldn't break the bank for him but I'd be fine locking him up long term. He's the kind of PG we need.

Great read. Thanks for posting this.
Obviously, my shooting has gotten better this year, but I still feel like I can become a way better shooter. And there are still so many different things that I’m learning about the game and so many areas where I know I can improve. For example, I’m finding little tricks to get to the free-throw line more and get my team in the bonus. I’m also working hard to improve on the defensive end. I feel like my ceiling is still pretty high and I have a lot of room for growth.
That's very encouraging to read.

Ryan McDonough recently said he was disappointed when you were selected four picks before they were on the clock back in 2014.
McD went on record saying he was disappointed to have to settle for TJ Warren?

So far, I like everything about him. I like his personality and the way he's carried himself in this new situation. He's come in like gang busters and has played better could have been imagined. I think him and Booker together will be nice.

No, he wanted them both. Brought them both in for secret workouts.

So McD had Bledsoe on the roster with Dragic in 2014 and wanted to draft Payton. Interesting. That's also the offseason he signed IT, which I doubt would've happened had we drafted Payton but still. He really overrated his vision for 2 starting PGs in the backcourt.
