Miami has some easy games coming up still. 2 against Atlanta and 1 against NY. Unfortunately they did just lose to the nets yesterday

either Miami or Washington needs to finish ahead of Milwaukee (unless somebody in the West takes a nosedive) for the Suns to get the Bucks' pick.

The great news is Chriss. He never has been afraid of contact, he just has not used his energy properly or has pouted. He appears to have turned the corner. My main issue with Bender is that he is too careful and avoids contact. These two guys are very, very important to our future. If they suck we have to find replacements. If they emerge it opens up all kinds of opportunity. They both are big and athletic and have shown the ability to knock down the 3. I have always envisioned them as both being 4/5 for us going forward. If that is the case why do we really need Ayton?

My mindset at this point is to add another playmaker and draft Doncic if he is available no matter where we pick. If that is 1st then he becomes the first pick in the draft.

If we feel that Doncic can handle the point in todays NBA then I would bundle this years Miami Pic, hopefully this years Milwaukee pick and next years Miami pick if necessary to move up in the draft to get the best defensive big that can finish around the hoop in traffic. I believe there are several guys that can fill that job. I do not care if he can shoot a lick from range that is what Chriss and Bender will be for.

I would then go after a veteran point guard in free agency. He is not a free agent but I have always like Ricky Rubio. I doubt the Jazz would trade him and it appears that he might have found a home in Utah. I am sure there are others. Rozier's name has come up but he also has one more year on his contract.

Is October here yet?
What was the reason to get rid of Monty again? Oh yeah, that guy we drafted rather than Doncic.

The tankathon website just got me properly ready for draft lottery disappointment. My 10 Suns' pick simulations in the order that I did them:

3-4-2-2-1-3-2-4-3-2

Are you serious?! With the best odds we got #1 once out of 10 times?!!! Ugh...

You just know we'll end up at #2 or #3 and the guy we all fall in love with will get snatched up at #1.

I've already prepared myself for that and love 2-3 players, haha. :D

It's going to happen. Just as long as we all prepare ourselves for it we'll be fine.

You know, at this point I'd be extremely happy with 2 or 3. Therefore, we're getting 4.

All the Suns need is a top 4 pick. Doesn't matter which one.
