Not so sure about that. Seems like a drop off between 2 an 3. Don’t know that 1-4 are in the same tier.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Bucks win and the Wizards lose. I don't think we are going to get the Bucks pick this year.

Bucks play the Nets, Knicks, Magic, and the 76'ers.

Wizards play the Cavs, Hawks, Celtics, and Magic.

Heat play the Hawks, Knicks, Thunder, and Raptors.

All three teams are 42-36.

It is still possible just not likely.

Informer/TOO, if we get #4, it's really tough to say if Bamba is in that slot on the Suns' draft board. I imagine their top two in some order is Ayton/Doncic. Then I'd guess Bagley. After that, who knows? I could see it being JJJ or even Trae Young.

Shhh.. :D :D

I can't see JJJ after the 2 projects we just drafted at the same position. Young is a possibility as much as I don't like it. i will be mad if we pick either of those 2 tbh. I think Bamba will separate himself during workouts anyway.

I'll be honest, I'd go with Young at 4, just because I don't want to wait for Bamba to mature. I'm skeptical of JJJ and Porter plays the same position as Warren, Jackson, Bender or Chriss. I think Young can be a difference maker, but would be disappointed in not getting a top 2 pick, as I could see the Suns moving back up for Young.

With the 4th pick in the draft the Phoenix Suns select.....
Exactly. That's my biggest fear.
It's going to happen. Just as long as we all prepare ourselves for it we'll be fine.
Yup. Expect the worst and hope to be pleasantly surprised.

JJJ would be a really nice fit in the frontcourt with Kevin Love.

JJJ would be tremendous in tandem with Jontay Porter.

Somebody pointed out how mature and composed Bamba sounds in interviews, and we know Sarver is a sucker for guys who interview well.

You see Young as more mature than Bamba? I like both players OK, and they obvs have opposite skill sets, but I don't see one as more ready than the other.

Jontay Porter will probably be available with our later pick, and he really knows how to play.

Physical maturity wise, it's a push for either position. I just think it takes a lot more strength and maturity to play the center position and more skill to play the pg position. I just think Young's skill level makes him more ready to contribute immediately than Bamba's level of skill + physical maturity for a center. Does that make sense?

I'll admit that it's entirely possible that Bamba becomes more valuable to their team and winning in 3 yrs +. Or it could be the other way around too.

OK, I understand what you mean now.

I was thinking about maturity more in terms of decision making. Trae will have to learn when to not shoot and let someone else run the offense. Bamba will have to learn when to stay on the floor and not go for the block, etc.

I hope he does a better job of that than Len did. Len was a force blocking shots when he first got here, but then in the name of positional defense he blocked fewer & fewer shots until he became barely a threat.
Go Suns!

I'm not to worried about Young's decision making and shot selection. He was much more judicious when he played with MPJ and Jontay when they won the EYBL title prior to his Senior year. It should be easier for him to easy off his aggression with better teammates. Better than having to beg him to be more aggressive like Bender, haha.

Looking like a good night if we want the Milwaukee pick. Bucks are down late to Brooklyn and Washington up double digits on Cleveland in the 4th

I guess McD said he would rather have the pick next year instead of this year.
