I have nothing against LeBron, I just can't stand Cleveland or basically the entire state of Ohio.

Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
It is "only" the Pacers and LeBron played 46mins. Madness
I hate to watch Cavs and the iso ball nonsense. Good for Dipo and like Mori mentioned Myles been quite disappointing this season but he was solid today

Glad Cleveland lost. Now OKC/Utah on. This is a great game. Currently OKC up by 4 in the 2nd quarter. Tune in!
Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
54-48 OKC ahead of Utah at the half. The Jazz are having trouble containing Paul George (20 points on 7-12 shooting) and Westbrook (14 points).
One interesting point is that OKC is mostly running a 6-man rotation with their starters plus Abrines. That team has major depth issues. I wonder if they'll wear out as the playoffs go on.

People were chomping at the bit to throw shade at PG after how well Dipo played

I agree; Paul George has been really good for them. I don't know why so many people were in a rush to declare George as mediocre. He's one of the best swingmen in the league.bajanguy008 wrote:People were chomping at the bit to throw shade at PG after how well Dipo played

I still think he could be a nice FA get if the Suns trade away Warren for a PF and get both a high end center and pg in the draft.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:I agree; Paul George has been really good for them. I'm baffled by some trying to bad mouth his play too.

Love, Hurts.

As someone that has a lot of family there, I totally agree.Flagrant Fowl wrote:I have nothing against LeBron, I just can't stand Cleveland or basically the entire state of Ohio.

Save this post, Mori.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:How, exactly? Myles Turner has been profoundly mediocre this year. Most of the rest of their roster isn't very good. Oladipo can't beat the Cavs by himself. Who is going to beat the Cavs? Lance Stephenson? Thad Young? Darren Collison? Sabonis? I don't really trust any of these guys. I do like the overall moves Indiana made to set themselves up for this season; getting Oladipo and Sabonis from OKC was masterful. And their role players are fine. But I just don't see them as a successful playoff team. We'll see.Split T wrote:I wouldn't write off the Pacers. I don't think LeBron loses, but that Cleveland team around him isn't good. Indy will put up a fight.
Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
And for those people (like Mori) that like to see LeBron fail, what is that about? No sarcasm, just really curious about that.
Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
I almost always pull for the underdog. It's high time someone else comes out of the east.Indy wrote:And for those people (like Mori) that like to see LeBron fail, what is that about? No sarcasm, just really curious about that.
Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
I would absolutely love to see a Houston/Philly finals.
Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
Replace Houston with Utah and I'm all in. Simmons vs Mitchell in the finals, ha!Indy wrote:I would absolutely love to see a Houston/Philly finals.
Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
I should probably say that I don't think a Houston/Philly match up is too far fetched. I can't see a way where Utah gets there.Hermen wrote:Replace Houston with Utah and I'm all in. Simmons vs Mitchell in the finals, ha!Indy wrote:I would absolutely love to see a Houston/Philly finals.
Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
If Philly goes to the Finals, I think LeBron goes there in the offseason same way Durant went to GS.
Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
I think it's mostly two things: The Decision, and his business associations such as Rich Paul and Klutch Sports. He's an amazing player, but I just don't like how he screwed over his home city on national TV like that. And I don't like how he has messed up the power structure between players, agents, and teams. I will still readily concede that he's one of the top 10 players of all time and that he's been fascinating to watch. I just don't root for him.Indy wrote:And for those people (like Mori) that like to see LeBron fail, what is that about? No sarcasm, just really curious about that.
Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
I find myself rooting against him often too. He is incredible though. I think him and Jordan are 1 and 2 all time and I don't think it's crazy to put LeBron 1, not saying I would, but there is an argument for it.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:I think it's mostly two things: The Decision, and his business associations such as Rich Paul and Klutch Sports. Re: 2018 NBA Playoffs, First Round
You can't put Lebron over MJ. Lebron has crumpled and failed in so many moments where MJ would have gone for the jugular and willed his team to win. Lebron would have 8 titles by now if he had MJ's killer instincts.
