This is the part where Kidd blew the socks off Billy King.... in his interview for the Brooklyn job, a few weeks after his retirement, King probably went through the identical list of generic questions.....veteran coaches of the interview circuit, knows not to divulge too many ideas, just go through general terms, the common thinking is teams collect info for their scouting bank. Kidd being the rookie interviewee, shared details on every player, his scouting report, he got up on the whiteboard and drew out plays and schemes to fit the personnel they had at the time of the interview. Kidd I would bet has gone all in again with this interview....these guys just can't be fooled by it. We know his IQ is off the charts and he will blow a rookie GM away....but at the end of the day, will he get along with.....Sarver, McDonough and James Jones.......

As for identity, I don't think you want to pigeon hole yourself, there's a handful of young kids that have their strong points and weak points. Josh Jackson, Devin Booker and draft pick I would imagine will be the "Big 3" going forward. You need to draft the best available players at your pick, not say, okay, I said we'd be a run and gun team, so I will draft only shooters, even though the other player is a lot better. You have to be open to be able to manipulate your scheme to better suit the personnel you got, can get.

Love to read that about Kidd killing his interview with the Nets (Kidd was my favorite player gowing up). Still, his performance in MIL was not stellar and I am not confident he'll extract the most out of our kids. Kokoskov seems better in that regard. And the way MIL neglected shooting under Kidd is truly a concern to me (without achieving grest defense in exchange).

Kidd would still be coaching the Bucks if he went to a more conventional NBA defense, man to man, given the length of Giannis, Maker and Middleton, even Bledsoe, there was no need for him to trap every time and allow corner 3's or a dive at the cup from the baseline. All he needed to do, was move away from the doubles and take away the passing lanes. It worked when he first started, but coaches adjusted....Kidd never adjusted.

Suns looking to interview former player L** L****** for Head Coach

Robert Sarver has been speaking to Ryan McDonough this week regarding the coaching search. According to sources, Sarver is upset that Ryan has not maximized the opportunities to bring in former Suns players to take over. He feels the We are P-H-X movement will be stronger than ever next year and he wants the ship to be piloted by a former Sun who can bring the fan base back together.

"Luc Longely" was one of the most beloved Suns centers and arguably one of the most important centers and human beings in league history. As a former Shrimp Gardner focusing his talents on handling his shrimp Longely developed a red plague that he spread across the league in a devastating fashion. A protege of former as Suns coach Frank Johnson - Longely was known as "the red sun" by fellow teammates. Al McCoy once called him "Big Red" after seeing him in the showers by accident during a crafting convention put together by the last Suns Head Coach Earl Watson.

"It was great. Big Red was there! I saw more than I expected" said McCoy. Sarver thinks Longely could be the guy to transform the Suns and get them back into the playoffs. Other coaches are being considered including Jason Kidd who is insisting the Suns throw french fries at their wives in order for him to make the move. Kidd says he and Longely could stand together to pilot the Suns to another 10 years of missing the playoffs and harboring the basketball ownership apocalypse that Sarver has been developing for over 10 years. Sarver said he hopes the Suns can again be eliminated in the first round. "The penis is mightier than the sword and I just am hoping we can grasp the penis by the pen" said Sarver from his mason jar candle factory located in downtown Phoenix "I love when I see myself in the mirror and then I lick the head of a rat - it helps me regenerate the cells of my inhumane monster body" noted Sarver.

Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert and Sarver have discussed joining forces to form a giant dildo factory in downtown Phoenix where the current Suns arena is. The Suns will play at the factory and help produce dildos and sex toys during off hours. "I think the fellas will like it !" said Sarver from his lair deep within the bowels of Metrocenter, his beloved home "this place feels like how I want the Suns to be - prosperous"

With any luck, an amazing coach Longely, Kidd or one of histories most impressive coaching candidates Vincent "Vinnie" Del Negro will coach the team. Someone like Del Negro would open a floodgate of free agent talents due to his undeniable reputation as a guy players absolutely love. All the AZ media guys are super high on Triano because he’s really nice and charismatic to the media. Ask any of them besides Gambo who they want the next Suns HC to be and the answer will be Triano.

Idk if they were paid by McDonough to keep pimping Triano down our throats so that fans are more accepting of it when it ends up being him or what but I hope he’s not the hire.

Rebuilding on the horizon for Memphis?

Conley could help here if the price is right. Would Memphis accept Knight, Dudley and Chriss to get out of that contract? Would we?

Conley's problem is staying healthy. I would only consider him if he consistently played 70+ games a year, but he hasn't done that in quite a while. His salary is just too high for a guy with a high chance of missing 20+ games every year.

Also, just a few days ago I was wondering why Bickerstaff wouldn't get a look as headcoach. And even while they didn't conduct a search, you got a guy who's been an NBA lifer, has been an interim before, son of Berbie Bickerstaff. Little different than Earl Watson.

Taking on Conley and Gasol is something I've thought about. The injury history and price tag is scary though. A Conley/Booker/Jackson/Gasol lineup, plus whoever we draft top 4 would be pretty good though, if healthy.

Conley contact for those interested: 3 years, 97 million. The last year is only guaranteed for 22 million. Becomes fully guaranteed if he plays at least 55 games in 18-19 or 19-20. That's a lot, but if Knight is part of the deal, we save 30 million there.
