Toronto is the new version of the Hawks. They win in the regular season, have some nice players, but aren't good enough to do anything in the postseason. They're no different than past years and they may even be worse because Lowry hasn't been going nuts like he used to. DeRozen is really good but not great and Ibaka and JV aren't scaring anyone. The fact they couldn't beat a tired Cavs team in Game 1? They might not make it to Game 6. Maybe I'm wrong tho.

I only watched the first quarter, when the Cavs were getting blown out. It was really just LeBron going 1 on 5 and scoring or the rest of the Cavs going 1 on 5 and failing. I really hate these Cavs, but now they have won back home court advantage.

Give me a PG who excels at passing, defense, and hopefully is an above-average shooter.

You are describing Chris Paul. The total package at PG is of course ideal but probably not within reach.

Anyway, with a scorer of Booker's caliber, I don't need a PG that passes like Nash, and if I can't have a perfect PG, among the imperfect ones, I'd pick one who shoots and plays defense (and Rozier does, at least so far in his career, although we have seen guys drop in intensity/effort once they become more stablished in the league).

I agree that we're unlikely to find a player as good as Chris Paul. But I guess I prioritize passing highly among the PG skills. I would rather have a player like, say, Ricky Rubio or John Wall, who passes eagerly and often gets near/over 10 assists rather than a PG who prioritizes his own scoring and averages 2-4 assists like a Rozier or a Bledsoe.

Having a player with good passing skills is important, but I don't want a player next to Booker that needs the ball to be effective. I rank defensive ability and shooting ability above passing ability in a PG next to Booker.

I value passing and shooting above defense, because defense is not going to keep defenders from double teaming Booker.

Have you guys had a look at Devonte Graham from Kansas? He's a 2nd round type prospect who can pass, shoot, and defend (although he's not big), but isn't much of a dribbler.

As is well known I am a die in the wool MDA fan but I really like this Utah team and we now know we have their assistant as our next head coach. How cool is that.

There is no one on the Utah team that I do not like, including any of their coaches. Even though I like MDA I really do not like Chris Paul. This is going to be a tough series for me to watch.
