Best is to ask him lol.
We have the case here in Belgium, when names can be pronounce the dutch way (your link) if the guy lives in the north/dutch speaking part of the country, the "belgian french" way if he lives in Brussels or the south part. Or "real french" if he lives in the french flanders (which has a lot of belgian names).
In french flanders, they will pronounce it "Van vlit".
In other part of France, they will say "Van Vl-8" (which we find highly ridiculous)

PS: I live in south Belgium, at the border with the north part and France.
PPS: sorry to give so much details, I'm just happy to be able to contribute for once xD

Judging by his facial expression, Igor’s accent may already be giving Warren some trouble

Nothing to be sorry for. This discussion is the highlight of the board right now.

There were several jokes on twitter.

"So you're telling me there's a shot worth THREE points?"
“Wait, it’s not considered a turnover if I throw the ball to the other players on MY team?”
Mine was, "What's this thing you were talking about called a 'pass'?"
Go Suns!

Ha ha. I just had NBA TV on and there's a commercial for something called Nugenix, a testosterone booster and it stars our very own Kevin Ray, Suns television broadcaster.

To be fair, Scottsdale is the ideal demographic for their product.

Meh. I understand his analogy of saying if you are a coach with a single philosophy and a way to play, you limit yourself. Seeing himself as a chef that has to work with the ingredients Ryan/James gives him is entirely accurate, but you would hope the guy that you bring in to install an offense and defense, and adjust it every game/quarter, would have more say in who is brought in.

All in all, he was #3 on my list to bring in (even if the first one wasn't completely realistic). I hope that our investments on stacking up assets pays off and we can let our coach make the most out of the players we have, especially considering I can't see us acquiring a great shooting, star player at 3 positions for next year through the draft/fa/trades--which is what it would take for this team to be a top tier playoff team by 2020.
