Great. I post a concern about Ayton’s knees, and then get a scouting video comparing him to Embiid and Oden.
Watch some video of Embiid in college and Ayton in college. Embiid is all over the place throwing his body everywhere. Ayton has a much more compact, almost military way of moving. It conserves energy and lessens impact.

What do you guys think of Chandler + Duds + 16 for Parsons + 4. Maybe we need to sweeten it a bit and throw in the Milwaukee pick. I'd do this trade in heartbeat if doncic falls past Sacto.
Memphis wouldn't make that trade even with the Milwaukee pick.
I agree that isn't enough. What do you think it would take?
Our own future first round pick.

To get Doncic, I would have no hesitation to throw that in.

The least it would be is Warren + 16 + 31 + a good future pick + take back salary. I'd do it in a heartbeat for Doncic.

But Woj seems convinced that someone ATL, MEM, and DAL are all open to trading their picks. Maybe something happens

I don't think it would take Warren when the Suns would be taking back an extra $25M in salary for 2019-20.

Why would there be any division? You figure Doncic would resent Ayton for being drafted ahead of him? Why would there be sides to pick?
I don’t it would come from who was picked first—it would just come from having a few guys that have a similar backgrounds, specifically bender, Doncic, and Kokoskov—its easy to form cliques with that kind of similarity, and I could think of a few narratives about people in that group being resented as the “coaches favorite” or having groups in the team that don’t get along.

Maybe that type of infighting doesn’t happen as much at the nba leve, or maybe it wouldn’t impact wins/losses—I don’t know. But because I hear about this stuff all the time at work, I know it can be a problem on other teams.

Oden failed because his body broke down, not because of a lack of ability.
Even when healthy, he wasn't anything special. He could block a shot or two, rebound pretty well, but didn't offer much on the offensive end. He wasn't going to be a star.

If WOJ is right. Ryan should have no excuse for not ending up with either Doncic of Trae Young, correct.

If he doesn't then he should be fired prior to the press conference for Ayton.
What was the reason to get rid of Monty again? Oh yeah, that guy we drafted rather than Doncic.

Taking Trae Young in the top 5 of this draft is a fireable offense in my book.

You guys cannot handle the truth.

I expect you will be delighted when we draft Holiday at 16 and McDonough tells Igor to choose between Knight, Ulis and Holiday as your starting point guard, after all, I am the GM deal with it. That has been how he has handled previous coaching staffs.

You also probably are planning a parade in honor of Ryan no matter, whom he picks #1.

It Looks Like the Suns Have Made Up Their Minds About Deandre Ayton

Do you guys think they'll announce who they're picking prior to the draft?
