I'd be really disappointed if we traded up for Sexton. I'd almost prefer Holiday versus using our assets for Sexton. I think Shai is interesting but the kid can't shoot. I'm worried about PGs that can't shoot in today's NBA. Especially if you already run JJ and Warren heavy minutes.
I agree about Sexton...I wouldn't hate it if we just picked him at 16, but I would not be happy if we traded up to draft him. As for SGA, I think the better way to put it is we don't know if he'll shoot. He shot pretty well (40%) on limited attempts. He's strictly a spot up shooter right now, but his form looks good and his high percentages from the line and from 3 indicate he can be a good shooter. There is a little Elfrid Payton risk with him though.
Okobo is who I want if we stay at 16. He's a fantastic shooter who can pull up off the Dribble or spot up. He's got decent size at 6'3 with a 6'8 wingspan, good handle and a developing playmaking game.
I'm not crazy about moving from 16 to 12 for any of those guys.

I think Sexton will be able to defend 2's on the next level, he's one of those gimme the best guy I'll stop him types. He definitely needs to work on his passing, but I think his shot and stuff will be fine. If I have to pick a guy who will be a D. Mitchell type next year, I choose him. I think he just has that thing in him.

Not a bad list. I like them all...a little too high for Shamet and Brunson, but I'd like Shamet at 31. He could replace Daniels shooting with more creative upside. Could possibly trade back if Holliday, divincenzo, or Okobo are the picks.

Definitely has the mentality to succeed. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a really nice player.

Feels like an if Trae drops situation
Woj has Trae pegged at 6. I wonder if there is anyone else they'll move up for.
If they stay at 16 and reach for Holiday or Brunson I will be bummed, while I like both players, I think moving back and taking one makes much more sense.
Moving back should NOT be an option. This team has enough draft picks and "assets." We should be aggressively trying to combine our assets to get more quality players rather than trading back and taking on more quantity.
Porter JR, Doncic, Young, or trade 16 out of the draft altogether for an established player - any of those should be our target to move up to grab.

Yeah, at this point, the money has to be on Holiday if they hold at 16.

THANK YOU!!

We should put a package together using the 16th for Schroder. Then maybe the Hawks can package the 16th and 19th for another top 10 pick.
No thanks. I've read a nice definition: Rondo's attitude without the accolades. He is not more than a decent starter, and if the PG doesn't shoot or defends, I am not interested.
I agree with those of you who think Trae Young is the guy they're targeting if he drops. My question is, what is their marker for making a deal. If he's still on the board at 8? 10?
I'll be surprised if Orlando doesn't take him, so this is kind of a moot discussion anyway.
