This is just my opinion but more than Ariza at PF I think we'll see a lot of Bridges/Jackson at SG with Booker as playmaker. Is this good? I don't know. He didn't do so hot last year but if you take into account "potential assists" then the picture shifts a bit. That's to say that his teammates didn't make a lot of shots off of Booker's passes last season. I suggest we'll see Booker-Bridges/Jackson-Ariza-Bender/Chriss-Ayton quite often.ShelC wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 9:20 amAriza will still be giving up 15+ lbs in most matchups, same as Shawn. And body types are different. Ariza's slender. Tucker is a wide body, stronger bully. Barnes, Gordon and Kuz are more built and bulkier. I'm sure we'll be fine tho, he's got a longer wingspan than all those guys.

Split , credit to you and your constant numbers break downs to support your arguments. having followed D. Mitchell in college, I am beginning to think that not many people on here didn't watch as much Jazz games as me
I mentioned this in a previous thread, we keep showing enthusiasm for Igor but in my opinion based on comments it doesn't seem like we using Jazz as a reference point. Gobert and Favors started games together but hardly played big minutes together especially in the 4th quarter. It would be one of them with Ingles, Hood (Crowder post trade), Mitchell and Rubio. Can anyone name another big who was a constant in the Jazz rotation......
I'm just speaking simply from watching the games, you guys can check the stats to see if I'm mistaken but one of Gobert or Favors have been on the court with the above mentioned guard/forwards and I'm fairly certain that formula made up the 8-10 man rotation
So again until I see if there is a trade and then how Igor uses the pieces which in my humble opinion isn't that much different to the Jazz roster, I not gonna be ripping the team but that's just me and to each his own

Re: 2018 Suns Offseason News
It really is that simple carey , the bottom line is our improvement is mainly going to be based on Igor , the Book/Ayton combo and Josh improvement. I remember one of the debates on here being Jazz fans getting unbearable with their Mitchell takes claiming he's better than Booker. So to your point Book ability to be a playmaker will be key but I am confident in the same system he can do wellcarey wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 9:31 amThis is just my opinion but more than Ariza at PF I think we'll see a lot of Bridges/Jackson at SG with Booker as playmaker. Re: 2018 Suns Offseason News
Are you really worried about Harrison Barnes and Kyle Kuzma bullying their way past Ariza? Both of those guys are perimeter oriented 4's anyways that are not good rebounders. I don't see how their 15 extra pounds is going to do anything. Also, kuzma weighs 220, so 5 extra pounds in his case. Ariza is the guy Houston uses to defend the Kevin Durant's and Giannis Antetokounmpo's of the world...I think he can handle Harrison Barnes and Kyle Kuzma..
Also, our problem in the Marion at pf days was never Marion. He was fine as a PF and would be a great PF in today's game.

Anybody else but Shams and I would have said trust the media to be looking to make that a story but.....

I knew this was going to be a problem. I have been saying for a year that Ulis wouldn't go anywhere until ink on Booker's extension was dry then McDonough cut his ass.

This can't be good. Now Booker not happy. What's next? Suns move to Vegas? I just can't believe what I'm reading now.

Like Max on twitter said it's either an embarrassing lack of maturity on Booker's part or a massive fuck up by McDonough. If it's the latter I think he's fired before the season.

Or it is some reporter pretending to have a "source" when actually they are probably just going off of that twitter response Booker had to some guy talking trash about Ulis. Or to be more friendly to the reporter it is some "source" going off of the twitter response and feeding it to the reporter as legit inside info.

He's not getting it anywhere else next year.
And before we think we can start building a championship team catering to Booker let's remember - he has appeared in 0 All-Star Games, and his entire NBA hardware collection consists on being named to the NBA All-Rookie Team. That's it. He's talented and can really score, but he's nowhere close to being a superstar.

Our front office sucks at people skills! Don’t ever piss off your potential franchise player... How can you not discuss your plans for free agency with Devin, you need to make him feel involved and never ever piss him off with your moves! For me this is the last drop, RMD has to go!bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 10:12 amOh boy, I hope Devin ain't gonna go the Diva route and be tripping out

If Devin didn't think Ulis getting let go after they drafted Okobo and pushed Ulis' guarantee date back wasn't in the cards, then he's a dummy. He's 21, he still has some growing up to do, this'll all blow over.
Love, Hurts.

What a fucking classic Ryan McD move. The dude has absolutely no class. Went through the same shit with the Morris brothers and still didn’t learn.

Re: 2018 Suns Offseason News
well I should have known these reactions would be coming in lol
McD obviously will never get the benefit of the doubt around here which is his own doing tbh but weren't most people saying it doesn't make sense keeping Ulis....
The fact that everyone seems to think Booker been blindsided by everything is interesting to say the least

Re: 2018 Suns Offseason News
That's because there is no general consensus. And the board MO is to start tripping out immediately with no knowledge of the end game. But I personally like your style to stay cool and wait and see what our lineup and play style looks like once the season starts.bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 6:46 amI am beginning to be fairly confused as to the general consensus on here.....
There are no Chriss fans on here, I'm fairly certain it is absolutely Zero. There are a few TJ fans although even they have fingers crossed he would come in this year with an improved shot. Bottom line is for the most part everyone has been suggesting all off season that we should use one or both of these in a trade.
So don't folks now think a trade is more probable ?? For me the Ariza signing has little impact on using those pieces to try upgrade the guard spot so that is still the transaction I'm waiting for before I start tripping out on McD

Booker liked a post on twitter saying as much.
