Summer League 2018
Re: Summer League 2018
I'd never heard of Tai Odiase. Here he looks like Stromile Swift. Very long and lean but bouncy.

Ha ha. Reminds me of old school player Billy Paultz, aka "The Whopper". Most of you youngins weren't around to experience his play. Laz remembers him fondly, I'm sure.carey wrote: ↑Sun Jul 01, 2018 12:29 pmJack Cooley is 6' 10" but 274lbs!

Re: Summer League 2018
I heard we were shopping Chriss on draft night.. Pretty sure he's gone. Wouldn't be surprised to see Warren and Daniels moved as well.
Re: Summer League 2018
Them not being on the roster is pretty telling. Chriss really hasn't done him self any favors with his attitude and Watson probably made it worse. Wonder what he will actually bring us. Probably not much.
Will Sauce be waived or do you think he will be traded. We need his cap space for Ariza don't we?

Re: Summer League 2018
well based on the fact that Igor is coaching the team and not an assistant , I do think it is fair to wonder why Chriss would not be on the team

Re: Summer League 2018
No offense to Bender and Chriss, but Williams is too good for Summer League.
I do think he's probably gone, but I wouildn't make him play in the summer even if he was staying.

Now that you mention it. I don't even think he played last year, did he?

Re: Summer League 2018
I want to ditch Chriss as much as any of you, but we're not getting any thing for him in return. I'd at least have him play SL if not try to get something out of him for the first couple of months of the season. I'd jump on the first protected first round pick offered.

Re: Summer League 2018
Sorry 'Bone. I didn't mean to imply that Sauce would play. My implication was meant to be that his deal would become guaranteed Friday and that he could be attached with Chriss & a pick to bring back something interesting for a team looking to shed salary.

Re: Summer League 2018
I think I'm the only one left on Chriss Island. I still think he has shown way more value than Bender and that he'd benefit from some real big man coaching.
Re: Summer League 2018
Gotcha. I forgot that Williams didn't even play last year.

Wasn't Williams hurt already last year?
