Possibly. They need shooters though since they signed Rondo, Lance and Javale. So they trade their 3 shooters for 1 shooter. Granted he's an amazing defender and can really shoot it himself. That said I don't know how they can build a competitive roster with what's available if they make this deal.

They seem excited about Aaron Holiday
Resigned Thad and adding Reke looks like a decent summer for Pacers. Myles Turner has to be more consistent though

I bet McDonough would love to add another small forward.

This might be the biggest no-brainer in the entire history of sports. Do I want to stretch Carmelo and save $100 million this year, check "yes" or "no."
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
Melo's the perfect stretch 4!

Good one lol
this would not be surprising since Morey always willing to gamble

I thought he and D’Antoni didn’t get along in New York?bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 06, 2018 11:43 amGood one lol![]()

Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
I really like what Indiana is doing; they look like they could be a top-3 team in the East next year along with Boston and Philly.
As for Melo, isn't it a mortal lock that he'll end up on the Lakers? Houston would be interesting, too, but I think given the D'Antoni stuff and the roster/fit, he'll prefer to go to LA.

A bit surprising
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
Kawhi hated him. I think he stays in SAS now...

Whoa! Did not see that coming.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Yeah that's a big shock
Thought it was play as a Spur til his legs couldn't go any more

He did do that. He's busted. Not sure what he'll contribute in Charlotte.bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 06, 2018 12:55 pmYeah that's a big shock

Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
This has got to be a huge blow to Melo's confidence. I remember when Webber got bought out and was trying to say that so many teams were asking to come join them etc.
Houston seems to be the only team that really makes sense.

Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
I still would've taken him here on that deal as a steady hand, some veteran leadership and give some pointers to Okobo.
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
I wonder if Ginobili leaves next.
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
Followed by Pop which would then complete the Spurs demise
