That’s alot of money for a player that doesn’t play a lick of defense and was unplayable in the playoffs.

Funny. When KAT came out, defense was considered one of his strengths.

Wait, does that mean Booker’s contract could actually be $190 million also?

Do you think he could be All-NBA, DPOY, or MVP in 2018-19?
No? Then don’t worry about it.

Because he sucks, despite the 5 years of “what-if” conversations by the Kool Aid cooler here
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
Yeah but I mean Noel sucks too but he still got a contract offer from OKC right away in free agency. Surprised Len hasn't latched on anywhere even in a vet min role.specialsauce wrote: ↑Wed Jul 11, 2018 8:34 pmBecause he sucks, despite the 5 years of “what-if” conversations by the Kool Aid cooler here
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
If that includes all three All-NBA teams, then yes it is certainly possible.

Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
I’m sure his asking price is too much. There’s no way teams wouldn’t want him for the minimum. He is on record last year as thinking he deserved the same type of offer Noel coincidentally turned downUglyTruth wrote: ↑Wed Jul 11, 2018 8:39 pmYeah but I mean Noel sucks too but he still got a contract offer from OKC right away in free agency. Same. Williams, too.TheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Wed Jul 11, 2018 10:39 pmI'd rather have Len backing up Ayton than Chandler.
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
Ayton just commented he's looking forward to learning from Chandler
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
I don’t want Len anywhere near Ayton.

He's going to like the way he looks, I guarantee it.

Can't blame the Union for the Lakers giving Mozgov 270mil or the Magic giving Biyombo 400 mil.

I mentioned in another thread that watching Chandler play significant mins was painful but I still think he can help Ayton with post positioning, rim running and anchoring the D. He made a living off that stuff after all, just his legs are gone now

Tyson can definitely mentor and help Ayton learn the nuances of being a center in the league. He's a former DPOY, got a ring....he prob couldn't help Len because there was no helping Len. But Ayton has the ability and seemingly the desire to get better. Even just talking and being the traffic guard on D would be huge.

I don’t have a problem giving Knight one more year to prove he can be a starting point guard in this league. If not, we waive/stretch him and free up more cap space.
