Lucky us. Man, if you really look at what McD did, outside of Booker and the lotto balls falling our way for Ayton, he was super terrible. LOL, yikes.Superbone wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 6:41 pmLet's not forget that we gave up the rights to Bogdanovic for the priviledge.TheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 3:46 pmTaking chances with a top 5 pick is stupid, taking chances with 2 top 10 picks is stupider. Re: Richard Bloch … he was among the original ownership group that put together the Suns franchise. That group included major partners Donald Pitt, Don Diamond, Bhavik Darji and Marvin Meyer, and was led by communications magnate Karl Eller. Minor investors included entertainers Ed Ames, Bobbie Gentry and Andy Williams. Bloch would subsequently become president of the owner’s group and de facto CEO of the Suns.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Could be worse than the sad state of the Suns. How about the Rockets? They were one win away from going to the finals last season and now they start this season with the same sad sack record as the Suns!

And they have Carmelo Anthony.
Send me a PM if you're interested in joining the phx-suns.net fantasy basketball league.

Get over McD. He was nowhere near terrible. He hit on Warren, Booker, Jackson, Okobo, Ayton, and Bridges. He whiffed Chriss and Bender. Altogether the team blew at developing talent. Len is a mediocre starter in this league but needed time. He still has potential higher ceiling than Fropez. Anyway, Jones will be good to help bring in free agents. Sarver hopefully won’t fudge it up.

More likely than not he missed on Jackson.
Bridges and Okobo have played only a few games so it’s way too early to call them “hits,” though they look promising so did Chriss initially.
Ayton was a no brainer, he was going to hit whether he picked Ayton or Doncic.
Booker was the obvious choice by many analysts at the time we picked, but I do give him credit for not messing that up.
Man Ryan, be a little more discrete.
More than anything, it was his smug attitude and punchable face that was the problem. He betrayed all his players and made the organization look worse every year from a player relations standpoint.
Re: Suns News: Week 3 10/29-11/4
I was just coming to post this. What about we trade them Ariza for a protected future first? I'm even okay with it becoming two second rounders. Though if we have to take Knight back for that privilege then it better never become seconds.
Re: Suns News: Week 3 10/29-11/4
Carmelo Anthony - 2/12 shooting last night. Who the hell does he think he is, Josh Jackson??
On a serious note, the addition of Anthony plus the loss of Jeff Bzdelik (the defensive guru) has really hurt the Rockets.
That said, not time to panic for Houston yet as they have been playing the last few games without the reigning MVP.

I do think Houston is worse this year. But it is still really early in the season. It's too soon to count them out.
I do wonder whether the classic Mike D'Antoni burnout has hit them hard. He tends to wear his teams down over the years.
